CASTING CALL | SIDE CHARACTERS
Project Overview
We’re looking for voice actors to bring life to the bustling, lively atmosphere of the Threads of Aevum universe. Background characters will engage in casual, lighthearted chatter during the pilot’s main celebration scene, adding depth to the episode. This casting also included roles who will return in future episodes as supporting characters!

Luther is another specific character in TOA. Featured in background conversations with high probability of returning in future episodes as a supporting character! Luther is an Aelorian blacksmith among the Solarian (noble) fae.
We’re looking for a deep voice to represent his age and years of experience in his field!

Sweetfruit’s probably in the hands of whoever got there first. Isn’t that how festivals work?
Yeah, yeah—I’ll be there in a minute! Gods forbid the fire handles itself for once.
You want my advice? Stop worrying about the tables. In five minutes, someone’s going to spill wine all over the cloths anyway.
Irene will be a recurring character in Threads of Aevum (and one of my favorites). As a seamstress and Mereling, a species of fae illusionists, she is an expert in her field. Merelings specialize in crafting enchanted clothing and accessories that can alter appearances, such as adding an extra limb, making someone seem taller, or disguising mud as a treat!

Watch where you’re prancing around! This is FINE goldwork stitching!
No magic needlework of mine can help that much of a sore thumb…
(Muttering) Weaver above…her jewels could use a good polishing.
Aneesa (AH-NEE-SUH) is a bit more of a unique background character, who has the potential to return for future episodes. She’s a flora nymph, soft spoken but definitely someone to speak up, and is a counterpart to another character, Cordessa.

ANEESA (gently) Cordessa, be careful. You need that.
ANEESA (stifling a laugh) I don’t think that’s a good idea.
ANEESA (softly, smiling) It does. It’s beautiful. (long pause) Shhh.

Fae 1: Did you see the petals this year? Twice as bright as last spring. A good omen, don’t you think?
Fae 2: Maybe. Or maybe the Oracles tampered with the cycle again. You know how they are.
Fae 3: Hush! You shouldn’t speak of them so openly.
More voices for background chatter.

Fae 4 (nervously adjusting their clothes): Do you think I look alright for the ceremony? I’m starting to doubt my choice of flowers. Maybe I should’ve gone with something less… bold?
Fae 5: Bold is good. You’re making a statement, that’s what matters. Trust me, no one’s going to be looking at anyone else’s flowers once the dancing starts.

Fae 6 (muttering while arranging a table of treats): I’d be happy just to be left alone for five minutes. People keep asking me where the sweetfruit’s gone. How am I supposed to know? I’m busy making the table look presentable!

FAE #1 (muttering) She nearly spilled that all over my feathers.
FAE #2 (chuckling) At least she didn’t knock over the offering bowl again.
