"Carry Me Away" - Object Show Student Film!

Project Overview

Hello there! "Carry Me Away" is an Intro to Animation student film that features objects as its main characters: Dandy and Pedro. Dandy, after a long time spent in solitude, decides to go outside for a little while to clear her mind. She comes across a few rocks in the grassy field near her home. She reaches towards one in particular then "Pop!"—Pedro comes alive right before her eyes, gaze irresistible. Pedro needs her to carry him off to the City, and Dandy isn't one to deny him, despite her fears...

I only need voices for the time being—just the lines provided (my film has to be quite short!). Thank you so much for your help in advance! :D

The main character! Dandy's somewhat reclusive, but still happy to help anyone who needs it. Even if the wind makes that more than a little difficult...

I imagine the voice of someone warm and inquisitive, maybe with a bit of an accent (I like the idea of her being somewhat uncomfortable with spoken English but this isn't necessary).

The lines listed below are all that I need for my film—thank you so much for your help in advance!

Little rock guy who came to life as soon as Dandy came to collect him! He really wants to go and see the world despite his lack of limbs, move very fast on this so-called "train" thing. I imagine him as a happy-go-lucky, silly kid character. Very young, boyish or androgynous voice (like 5 years old).

The lines listed below are the only ones I need for my film—thank you so much for your help in advance!

Language:
  • english
Voice description:
  • male child
  • animation/character
  • enthusiastic
  • Persistent
  • I wanna go! (Excited, but not overly so. Like someone presenting something new they've discovered)

  • Bye! Thank you! (Sincere, maybe with the bittersweet note of leaving someone?)
