Cardcaptor Sakura: The Movie (FULL English FANDUB) - Sakura Recast Round 2

Project Overview

The film shows Sakura Kinomoto and friends going to Hong Kong when they encounter a powerful spirit who was hurt by Clow Reed in the past.

The visuals, plot, and character names will be the same as the original release, but the voices and sound effects will be recreated with an alternative soundtrack. The project has zero budget and that this is for fun. If problems arise, I might take the project down.


A few things I also want to add:

1. Discord is required. It's easy to create your own Discord account if you're new to it. If you're not comfortable, I'm available on Twitter.

2. Recording may vary. (Life comes first)

Sakura Kinomoto (pronounced SAH-ker-rah Keen-oh-mow-toe) is the main character of the series and movie. At the time of the movie's beginning, she has collected most of the Clow Cards and just got the Arrow card captured.


The Japanese voice for Sakura has a unique catchphrase when she gets shocked or scared: "Hoe!" ("ほえ！")   


Her optimistic and outgoing attitude, combined with her invincibility spell ("Everything's going to be alright.") has carried her to go through obstacles to collect the cards and is very friendly towards those around her, including her friends and family.

  • (Sakura approaches Madoushi and gently speaks) You really loved Clow, didn't you? It hurts, doesn't it? It hurts to lose someone you love.
