Project Overview

Captain Mctuffin and Friends is an original 13+ animated comedy webseries created by JacobAnimatesStuff, set in a colorful, whimsical world of anthropomorphic animals.

At the center of it all is Captain Mctuffin, a quirky and proud penguin dad with big energy and an even bigger heart. He leads his hilarious household alongside his no-nonsense wife Kitty Sr., their optimistic, science-loving son Cody, and their adventurous daughter Kitty Jr. — who’s always one big idea away from total chaos.

The series blends family sitcom energy with magical mayhem, comedy, and emotional moments, taking inspiration from shows like The Loud House, Amphibia, The Amazing World of Gumball, and even the LeapFrog Leappad-exclusive game Pet Pad Party.

It features lovable side characters, awkward moments, glitter explosions, and charmingly weird stories about growing up, being yourself, and sticking with your family through the wild ride.

We're currently casting voice actors for future episodes — starting with Episode 4: “Kitty Jr.'s Big Idea”, and possibly doing redubs of Episodes 1–3 to polish them up before we go full steam ahead. This is a long-term project with lots of fun character moments ahead!

I'm also voicing Dylan, Jack, and (tentatively) Captain Mctuffin, but I may step aside from the latter depending on casting results.

  • Casting Update – Cody Has Been Cast!

    Hey everyone! I’m excited to announce that ChrisLambVO has officially been cast as Cody in Captain Mctuffin and Friends!

    His audition really captured the character’s personality and energy, and I’m thrilled to have him on board as a long-term voice for the series.

    With Cody cast, that wraps up all the roles I needed for this project at the moment. Thank you so much to everyone who auditioned and showed interest in CMAF, the support means a lot and helps bring this series to life!

  • Lawrence Panda has been officially cast!

    Huge welcome to Seth Gilley, who will be voicing Lawrence in the Captain Mctuffin and Friends webseries! His performance really nailed the calm, soft-spoken dad energy we were looking for, think Greg Universe meets cartoon dad wisdom.

    Lawrence will appear in the redub of Episode 1 (The Mctuffin Family and the Melting Ice Cream Adventure), the upcoming Episode 4 (Kitty Jr.'s Big Idea), and more episodes as a recurring/supporting character.

  • Casting Update – Layla Panda's Voice Revealed!

    I’m excited to officially welcome Edna Roseberry as the new voice of Layla Panda in Captain Mctuffin and Friends!

    Edna will be voicing Layla in the Episode 2 redub: How Cody and Layla Got Together, as well as in Episode 4: Kitty Jr's Big Idea and future episodes. Her bright and expressive delivery perfectly matches Layla’s sweet, fun-loving personality, and I’m thrilled for you all to hear her in action!

    A big thanks to Edna for jumping on board, your enthusiasm and talent mean a lot!

  • Kitty Sr Has Been Cast!

    I'm thrilled to officially welcome Lily Marie as the new voice of Kitty Sr.!

    Lily is currently recording her voicelines for Episode 4: Kitty Jr.’s Big Idea and the redub of Episode 1: The Mctuffins Family & the Melting Ice Cream Adventure. She will also be voicing Kitty Sr. in all future episodes beyond these two!

    Her warm, witty, and comedic performance perfectly captures Kitty Sr.’s loving and sassy personality. I can’t wait for you to hear her bring this beloved character to life!

    Hey everyone! Quick update — I’ve decided to extend the audition deadline for Captain Mctuffin and Friends to give folks a little more time. The new deadline is:
