Hi!
Thank you so much for stopping by!
We’re two graduate students in Clinical Psychology who have always believed that stories can stay with us long after childhood.
That's why we're creating Capable Cockroach—a collection of gentle, meaningful audio stories about growing up, understanding emotions, making mistakes, trying again, building friendships, and slowly figuring out the world around us.
Each story follows one tiny cockroach who, like every child, doesn't have all the answers. Sometimes he's brave, sometimes he's nervous, sometimes he gets frustrated, sometimes he misunderstands things—and together with him, children get to explore those moments in a way that feels safe, comforting, and hopeful.
Our goal isn't to teach lessons or tell children how they should feel. We simply want to tell beautiful stories that help them feel a little more understood, a little less alone, and a little more confident in figuring things out for themselves.
We're incredibly excited to build this little world, and we're hoping to find people who would genuinely enjoy creating it with us.
This is currently an unpaid passion project, so we truly appreciate every audition, every message, and every bit of time and creativity you choose to share with us. We know that creating takes effort, and we don't take that generosity for granted.
We're hoping this won't just be a one-time collaboration, but the beginning of a small creative family building something children might remember for years to come.
Thank you for being here.
We can't wait to hear from you.
