Capable Cockroach - Stories about figuring things out

Voice Actor - Children's Stories Narrator
Hi! :)
Thank you so much for taking a look at our project.
We are creating Capable Cockroach, a series of gentle children's audio stories about emotions, growing up, and figuring life out—one little adventure at a time.
This project is something incredibly close to our hearts. We truly hope it becomes a safe place for children to come back to whenever they need comfort, courage, or simply a lovely story before bed. We're looking for someone who would like to become the voice of that world.
We aren't looking for a "cartoon voice" or lots of exaggerated character acting. Instead, we're hoping to find someone who can tell a story the way you might read to a child you love—with warmth, kindness, honesty, and genuine emotion.
We believe the best storytelling doesn't come from doing lots of different voices. It comes from making the listener feel like they're right there beside you.
This is currently an unpaid passion project, and because of that, we genuinely appreciate every person who chooses to spend their time auditioning. We know recording takes time and effort, and we don't take that for granted.
If we find the right person, we'd absolutely love this to become a long-term collaboration. We're hoping not just to find a narrator, but someone who believes in this little world as much as we do.
If that sounds like you... we'd truly happy to hear your voice. ❤️
PS: We're still learning as we build this project, so we're looking for kind people who enjoy creating together.

Cockroach liked being the sort of creature who could figure things out. He could carry three crumbs at once without dropping any. He could climb the smooth side of a flowerpot. He always seemed to find the warmest patch of sunlight before anyone else noticed it was there. But on Tuesday morning, he woke up with a problem he couldn't quite figure out.
Junie looked at him for a moment. "You've checked your bag three times already." Cockroach looked back at the matchbox. "I know." "Do you think the button might disappear?" He hesitated. "...Maybe." Junie smiled gently. "I don't think buttons usually do that."
Mrs Beetle smiled kindly. "Sometimes our bodies notice our feelings before our minds do." Cockroach rested a hand on his tummy. "So... I'm not sick?" "No," Mrs Beetle said softly. "I think your tummy is simply telling you that today matters." Cockroach thought about that for a long moment. Somehow, the feeling hadn't disappeared. But it didn't feel quite so mysterious anymore.
