"Camp Compassion" : An Animated YouTube Series
Project Overview
About “Camp Compassion”
Camp Compassion (CC for short) is a horror based animated series about a girl named Noelle who gets accepted to an oversea camp with many other talented students, not knowing it was actually a way to kill them. This will be uploaded onto YouTube for mature audiences, mainly for PG-13 audiences only, due to the horror aspect of the series.
This project will be edited using a character creator/ editor app, so not frame by frame – this animation will be done using greenscreen and key frames for the characters.
This project is a short-term commitment, as we are aiming for the episodes to only be about 10-15 minutes long, and there only be 4-8 episodes in total.
The script will be sent to you almost immediately after casting, and the deadline will be decided after all the cast have read through the script at least once.
You MUST need Discord to be able to audition, as all communication will be through there.
Rules
This project is 12+, aiming for the voice actors to be around the age of 12-17.
Communication will be through discord.

Try and have hardly any to none background audio at all, we know that not everyone can afford fancy microphones, but still.
The deadline for auditions is June 25th, we are planning to get casting done by July 1st and all episodes for the project done by September 1st

Noelle is the Protagonist and main character of this project, she has a very loud and sometimes rude personality, but she usually puts faith in others blindly.

(Annoyed) “I know, I know! I just can’t decide what outfit to wear, my sneakers with a high, fluffy skirt and a sweater, or my sneakers with a high fluffy skirt and a HOODIE!”
(Surprised) “*YOU* got in, h-how?! You’re not even that good, I mean, you’re a good pianist, but everyone can hit a couple notes!”
(Panicking) “Well it may as well be the Bahamas! We’re going to be on an island with many other talented amazing celebrities!!”
Quinn is Noelle’s roommate, and one of the most supporting characters at the start of the first episode – he is very close to Noelle, as they were childhood friends, but he is also sick of her.

“God.. maybe if you set an alarm when you actually need to wake up instead of when the class starts you’d not be rushing about everyday.”
“Camp Compassion, like, *THE* Camp Compassion?! This must be a joke, it’s not funny, Noelle!”
“Noelle, why would I bring you? I could bring my boyfriend, or brother, not my roommate!”
Lawrence is another protagonist/main character in the project – he is a very self-confident “nerd” who sees himself as the best programmer in the world. He’s very self-obsessed and smart.

“Do you seriously believe someone like HIM could commit a crime?”
“Stop talking, you lower the IQ of everyone here.”
“Y-you hurt my brain. I’m a programmer, NOT your date.”
Jaylen is a very toxic and loud fashion designer; he focusses on himself and is not scared to be rude or mean at any time.
Age: 16

“Dude! That sounds awesome, you need to teach me one day!”
“I’m Jaylen, but you can call me Jay, I’m a fashion designer!”
“Speaking about fashion, what the hell are you wearing? It looks like a grandma’s carpet.”
Nin is a very timid and shy character, she’s very antisocial and only makes friends through her older sister.

“Well, w-what did you expect me to do?! It’s not like any of you told me to go with you!”
“Ah! You can’t scare me like that!”
“Oh my god, we’re all gonna die! It’s no use, living isn’t endless, we’re going to get murdered here!”
Avleen is a very hot-headed character who is very overprotective and insecure of his height, his emotions change rapidly and he often spends his time apologising to people for yelling at the earlier in the day.

“Why do you always drag me to places?! It’s not like I’m going to clean for you, I’m not your cat-boy maid, y’know!”
“I NEVER ASKED TO BE HERE, Okay?! A letter just came through my door, and bam-bi-di-bong, Here I am!”
“Call me short again and i’ll take my short foot and shove it up your- ah, Noelle, it’s so nice to see you!”
Willow is a very loud and friendly person, she has a very bubbly personality and loves meeting new people – she's very secretive at some points though, mostly about the fact she has fallen head-over-heels for Lawrence.
This is a minor character, as she is only included in the first episode.

“I’m Lawrence’s one and only best friend, we haven’t seen each other in SO long!”
“You must be Noelle! It’s super-duper nice to meet you!”
“Of course I have a crush on him, idiot! I can’t risk our friendship being messed up though, then I’ll have NO ONE!”
