Chance Ortiz! He's only in like the first chapter, so he isn't a very important character sadly. I can promise he could be a fun dude to voice act, though!

Project Overview
Call Me Irresponsible is a story that takes place in New York City, focusing mainly on Hildred Brasher, the oldest son of a known Mafia member and a lawyer. He is constantly shown not knowing the difference between right and wrong, leading him to go down all the wrong paths with the right intentions.
In this novel, there is no “protagonist” or “antagonist”, but rather, it simply goes to show a young man battling his own demons continuously throughout the years of his life and how this affects his family and the others around him.
Call Me Irresponsible is an original story created by me, Erica! It follows the Brasher/D'Aramitz family and their lives--most notably, Hildred's life. It takes place in New York City!
The book has divided narration. For example, there can be one part that is about Hildred, so he would be the narrator of that part. After that, there could be a part about Clarisse, so she would be the narrator of her part.
More and more characters will be added over time.

Hildred has never been a good person. He's a delinquent and a low-down coward who puts his own feelings and thoughts before anyone else. He never realizes any of the things he does is bad, so he's very quick to defend himself and excuse his actions when called out on his behavior. He is the son of Garrett and Clarisse.
He has a medium ranged voice, with an extremely thick Brooklyn accent. He's loud, to the point of being obnoxious, and talks pretty fast.
"Well, what do we have here? Three pretty dames, an' all of 'em came t' me! Ahah! Well, I guess this makes comin' t' th' dance worth it after all!"
"Hey, M' fuckin' walkin' here!! My god, you'd think any crumb 'round here would notice ya walkin' in th' middle of th' fuckin' road, huh? A bunch of half portions--this city's full of 'em, I swear."
"I'll hurt m'self. I swear I will! I absolutely fuckin' will--jus' tell me y' love me, Veronica, please! Yer th' only thing keepin' me goin', babe! Jus- Jus' say it!"

Garrett is the father of Hildred, Zariah and Connor. At first, he seems like a major hothead with a terrible temper--and while that may be the case, he is much more sensitive than he lets on, and he only wants what's best for the people he cares about.
He has a medium-low range voice, with a Brooklyn accent. He's prone to yelling, and talking quickly when he's excited.
"I guess you already know of me. I don't know you, though. What's your name, dollface?"
"The cocksuckers! Just who the hell do they think they are?! Who are they, huh?!"
"...Because you're not like me. But when things like this happens--me gettin' all pissed off and whatnot--it kills me. It just... kills me. And, I'm terrified. Terrified of myself and the things I might do."

Clarisse is the mother of Hildred, Zariah and Connor. As a teenager, she had dreamed of becoming a famous jazz singer. Of course, that never exactly worked out for her very much, which led to a lot of frustration inside the woman. She is not a good person, and has a sour attitude.
She has a medium-high range voice. Whether she has a New York accent or not can be up to you! She speaks somewhat slowly.
"Are you deaf, Garrett? I said, come on! I've called your name, like, three times. Really, I know it was a wonderful movie, but there's not much to see in the credits! Let's go."
"You bastard--you promised me! You promised me that you could give me the world, but look where that promise got us! It got us stuck with three children, one of them being an absolute shithead, you getting yourself nearly killed constantly, and me having to stay home all goddamn day, drinking and drinking--it's torture! It is absolute torture!"
"I... give up. I give up. I know I'll never be able to achieve any of my dreams. Why was I so foolish to believe that I could really become a singer? It'll never happen."

Zariah is probably the nicest one of the three siblings. She's also the most awkward, shy, and the clumsiest. She doesn't really know how to defend herself, so Hildred was always the one to protect her. Bad luck seems to follow her wherever she goes.
She has a high range voice with a thick Brooklyn accent. She talks very loudly and tends to ramble at times.
"Oh, Hildred--You're back! You're really back! A- Am I cryin'? I- I am! Gosh, this is embarrassin', but... I- I'm just so happy you're back!"
"What are ya doin' here? I- I told you, I never wanted to see you again! Don't y' get it?! Why won't you just go away?! I- I hate you!"
"...I'm sorry, Connor. I know I should be th' stronger one, me bein' older an' all, but... I- I'm not.. strong. I've always been weak, y' know? I- I'm sorry... I'm such a mess."

Margaret is definitely the more cheerful of the three. At least, most of the time. She does have a bit of a temper on her, but it's not as bad as her father or Hildred. She is very skilled on piano, and can be seen playing nonstop to distract herself from anything bad in the world.
She has a medium-high range voice, with a thick Brooklyn accent. She speaks somewhat slowly, and rarely raises her voice, unless she's pissed off.
"Huh? Oh, well, it's nothin', really! I'm not really that good at piano just yet, it's jus'... somethin' I picked up on, I guess, hahah!"
"Fuckin' christ, sis! Y' got paint all over me! How can one person be that much of a fuckin' klutz?!"
"Oh, God--I think Hildred's bad luck might be rubbin' off on me. But, then again... nobody in this family has really had any luck t' begin with, huh...?"

Casimir is the grandfather of Hildred, Zariah and Connor, and the adoptive father of Clarisse. He's generally very cheerful and happy, but worries a great deal about his kids.
He has a medium range voice. The French accent can be optional!
"Hahah, just take it easy for now, son. We have a long way to go."
"Clarisse, you can't go skipping all your classes with a mobster's son! What's gotten into you?"
"You know, it... it hurts me to see you like this. I just wish there was something I could do... I'm awfully sorry, child."

Amber is a spoiled brat through and through. She's the first girlfriend of Hildred, but she doesn't exactly treat him very well--she doesn't really treat anyone well, actually. All she cares about is her own needs.
She has a high range voice, and sounds childish.

"Hildred, you big fuck-up! Don't you ever think before you do anything?! Can you do anything right?!"

Sergio is a very shitty bodyguard. On one hand, you've got Malcolm paying him to protect King, and on the other, you've got King paying him just to leave him the hell alone. Needless to say, Sergio's pretty rich. He is extremely money-obsessed.
He has a medium-low range voice. Kinda talks like a Bro.
"Oh, trust me, I might be King's bodyguard, but I still hate the motherfucker. I mean, hey, I don't really care, as long as the job gets me money--and believe me, it sure as hell does."

Veronica is friends with Amber with Kiera, but is not like your typical popular girl. Instead, she's incredibly soft-spoken and polite to everyone. She can be known to be very emotional, however, and her hyper-empathy is clearly her biggest weakness.
She has a medium range voice. Her accent can be whatever you personally interpret it as! She rarely raises her voice with anyone, even when angry.
"Ahaha, your family seems... nice! But... is your sister okay? Then again, I guess your family's just eccentric like that."
"No! Please don't do anything rash, Hildred! Listen, I- I do love you, alright? I do! Just... please don't do anything to yourself...!"
"I- I'm sorry! I'm sorry! G- God, I'm so sorry, pl- please forgive me, Hildred! I know I mess everything up, I- I'll try not to! I'm sorry!"
