C2TT OCT: The Knight & the Dragon FINAL ROUND

Project Overview

Stellartoons here! This casting call is part of a cooking themed Original Character Tournament hosted on Twitter and Discord called Chop 2 the Top where artists are paired, compete against each other and ultimately collaborate to tell a story in the established setting. There isn’t a grand prize in the tournament besides being part of a neat community of artists.


The Tournament and roles will take place until August 6th, 2022.


The entries I’m working on feature my characters Maribel the Baker Knight and Chanterelle the lizard Shroomancer- as well as a few other original characters from the tournament! It's made in a video format with a style reminiscent of visual novels or RPG video games and inspired by TTRPG shows like Thrilling Intent and Epithet Erased.

  • Casting finished! + 1 more role update

    Hello! Stellar here! Casting for the main cast has finished up and I've contacted the people picked. Thank you to everyone that applied and followed the project, there were so many talented people to choose from! From here I'm going to be kicking it into high gear to get to work on the project and hope to get an August release. Do check it out when you get the chance. Speaking of, there IS one final role I need filling and I've added it as a copy to the project. If you're up for it you can have a look over at my profile!     Hi everyone! Thank you to everyone that auditioned! The casting call had a great response and theres so many talented voices to choose from! I'm going to be looking them over this weekend and making a final decision, as well as prepping the finalized script for next week- thank you for your patience as I ready everything! Kind, shy and well mannered. Harvest Child is a young boy from a farm that’s gone under a terrible curse from a mythical being that forces him to steal (or ‘harvest’) excessively whenever he claims something. He’s on a quest to climb the tower to be rid of the curse before it takes his life.

  • (Happy, talking to a small critter) "Don't worry little guy, we're not going to hurt you! Have you been the one guiding us this whole time? My name is Harvest Child!"

  • (Desperate and Pleading) "I'm not going to give up here! It's not selfish to do things for myself!"

  • (Half joking) "That tastes awful... you don't think eating that could be how you lost your sense of taste?"

Voice: Nearly monotone, calm and collected. (Trans voice actors are highly encouraged to apply!)

Kind, but a little too selfless for his own good. Highly professional and comes off as very serious most of the time


Tobias is a highly skilled hunter and chef that’s commissioned by the wealthy to make the best of the best dishes- although his job is at a bit of a standstill since he lost his ability to taste. 

 

Tobias headed off to the Tower in search of answers for his ailment. Along the way, he met Harvest Child and looks out for them, making sure they head to the top together and becoming a bit of a big brother figure.

  • (Speaking very matter of factly) The 'Super Food' doesn't have to taste good, it just has to be nutritional, especially to someone like me that can't taste.

  • (Chased) "Don't look back- don't look back! Keep running, I'll handle this!"

  • (Slightly annoyed) "I'm... not going to fight you. I don't fight people. Can you please just step aside so we can move on...?"

Bignacious is the final guardian of the Tower of Gobble, residing over the grand Victory Volcano. In his domain he relishes in gold from Dyet’s horde and great battles held by his animated statues in his Chamber Pot Coliseum. He’s loud, proud and completely obsessed with himself
