Project Overview

Hello, this is TheWingman here with another audio drama. The story here is called Butterfly, a story I wrote a while back. The synopsis is about Artemis, Vice-Principal of Canterlot High School. One day, a student named Nebula Spectacle walks into his office where she reveals something that reminded him of something about him from long ago. Thus, he resolves to help her out, knowing what he went through.

This story deals with LGBT themes and consists of two parts: the Main story and the Epilogue. For this project, I'm looking for both beginner and veteran actors to fill the voice roles, a narrator, and a composer who is willing to do a few pieces. The goal is to have this project ready in time for Pride Month in June.

As far as requirements go, I only have a couple:

-Good Mic Quality (Important)
-Email and Discord (Both for communication and delivering the lines/files)

All in all, that is just about it for the description. I can't wait to hear your auditions and I look forward to working with you. :)

  • Casting complete and production timeline

    Heya everyone! I'm honestly overwhelmed by the number of auditions that were submitted and they were all pretty good. I thank every one of you for auditioning for my project. Yet, as the saying goes, there can be only one, but, in this case, eight. It was a tough process to choose who would fit well for each role. In the end, I made the casting choices that I felt would do well for the project. Also, in regards to the production timeframe, I would estimate that about two to three days to complete the script and after which, it'll be sent to whoever got cast who'll then begin recording. Production would take place over a week or two, depending on changes in schedule and other conditions. After that, the completed project will make its debut on June 1st to kick off Pride Month. Again, I thank every one of you for auditioning for this project and I can't say it enough. :)

  • Decision on casting date

    Heya everyone who has followed this project. I would like to say that I love all the auditions that you all have posted. With that being said, I've been handling something IRL and it involves house work and I have no access to my work computer. Not to mention, it has left me exhausted for the time being until Saturday. Hopefully, by noonish on Saturday, I will choose to who the remaining roles go to. So far, I have gotten a listen in between breaks and I've enjoyed your auditions. Thank you. :)

  • Casting of Quasar Burst and Nebula Spectacle

    Hello to all who have auditioned and have been following this project. I'm proud to announce that the roles for Quasar Burst and Nebula Spectacle have been cast. TheWolfJarl and Script Singer will be playing those roles respectively. I thank those who have auditioned for those roles.

Vice Principal Artemis was formerly known as Luna before he transitioned to male. With support from his older sister, he had little issue adjusting to his new life. Married and with a successful career in the education system, his happiness knew no bounds. Despite his perceived strict demeanor, he's always open to talk to students if they need someone and is down-to-earth.
