Project Overview

INTRODUCTION

Hi, I'm m0nk1e! I've been working on this passion project of mine for YEARS and would love to make this dream of mine come to life! I have a lot planned for this audio drama and maybe, I'll be turning this into a fully fledged webcomic someday! All I really need is to assemble a team and It'll be smooth sailing from there.

I've never had any experience in directing something this big before, but I'm always up to trying out something new for once! So, with your help, this passion project of mine will blossom into a beautiful butterfly! or...something. I don't know.

Let's go over the basics!

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

  • You must be 15+ or older to audition! (Sorry, kid actors, but this ain't the place for y'all..)

  • When recording lines, please be sure to use the AABBCC format. That way, it'll be easier for me to decide.

  • Make sure your mic quality is good and has no background noise present in the audition.

  • Don't be competitive! If you don't get the role, please don't be mad or throw a fit. It's fair game for everyone, so, maybe try out another character and see if you manage to get it.

  • You can only audition for 2-3 characters. That's the maximum!

  • Instead of just picking one voice actor for each role, I'll pick a back-up voice actor just in case something happens!

  • Discord will be our main factor when it comes to communication. Please make sure to list your discord username in your audition.

  • There's no need to rush, even after the deadline you can still audition.

  • Have fun! Nobody likes a sour puss. >:[

PROJECT SUMMARY/STORY

A group of 6 (Christian McTroy, Sidney Hallen, Lashana Brown, Jazmine Brown, Viviane Watoll, & Jourdan Matthews) friends mysteriously end up receiving a fancy-looking invitation. The invitation claims that they've all been invited to a huge mansion in which the owner of said mansion is hosting a heartwarmingly-wholesome high school reunion party.

Once arriving, it turns out to be great! Phillip, the host of this whole operation decides it would be best to play a fun little game of Murder Mystery. Costumes were already provided as it turned out to be based around a certain theme. Old Wild West shows to be exact. They MUST, at all times, have to stay in character with the roles they were given while also trying to figure out the mystery within the mansion.

The mystery soon begins after they all are situated and comfortable before suddenly the power goes off, hearing only what sounds to be an awful bone cracking sound which was soon followed by a blood-curdling scream. The body dropped to the floor with a chilling thud before everything went silent. And once the lights turned back on, someone was missing from the friend group! Leaving only a chalk drawn outline of the body on the floor. The body was nowhere to be found.


The frightened friend group all thought that this was a normal reunion!
What's going on?!

Will our cast of characters be able to make it out in one piece?

Or will they all face a horrible death?

  • CCC has a massive Scammer Art Account problem.

    So, I have gotten around a LOT of scam accounts going into the auditions posing to have "professional portfolios" and that they will "make my creative ideas come to life". I'm sick of seeing the same exact copy and paste messages, same identical Google Drives even though I SPECIFICALLY STATED that Google Drives will immediately get you dismissed and you will NOT get the role.

    I know you're not real artists, I know you stole from other artists and claim said art as your own, I know because of all of you scam accounts have terrible grammatical errors and an awful ability at forming a cohesive sentence. And I am sick and tired of it.

    USERS OF CCC:

    If you see that your project has a Google Drives attached to it, it's 9 times outta 10 a scam. Though, I'm not saying to immediately dismiss them, look into the folder and see if it's actually legit.

    Things you have to looks out for:

    - Awful attempt to crop the videos

    - Stolen fight scenes from anime

    - AI artwork

    - Stolen artwork

    - Inconsistent watermarks

    - Bad spelling, grammatical errors and the use of "Am a professional.", "I am willing to make your ideas come to life!" and dry responses like "Okay." (you'll be surprised how it's used a lot when it comes to these guys...)

    - Newly made CCC accounts with a LOT of submissions. (especially if it was made on the month you published your project, though sometimes it may be a few months old. Still, be alert.)

    - Welcoming comments on your projects.

    - And make sure to image reverse the art/videos to track it back to the ORIGINAL artist and inform them of this information.

Christian McTroy is a 24yr old caucasian white man who's a laid back, unemployed, loner, "stuck inside his room" kind of guy and is the main character of this story.


He's best friends with Sidney Hallen, a long time friend who has stuck by him since the 9th grade going onto college. Though, Sidney can be a pain in Chris' ass, he still loves her goofy nature at heart.


His voice should sound more genuine yet sarcastic at the same time. (I don't really have a voice claim for him just yet, but once I do I'll update his role at a later point in time. So, just go wild!)

Sidney Hallen, a 21yr old woman who is an energetic, fast talking, caring, empathetic, and a comical jokester all around. She's also the best friend of Christian and is an important side character within this story.


Sidney works as a Swimming Coach at the Swimmer Friendly Springs nearby trampoline park across the way. She takes her job seriously and is always open to look for any jobs that'll suit Christian.


Her voice claim is Aoi Asahina from Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc. Sidney's voice should sound semi-high pitched and excited. Put emphasis onto every word when recording your lines.

Phillip Erwinton is a 28yr old man child who is a multi-billionaire business man, he was spoiled rotten by his parents as a kid and hasn't grown out of him still being "Mama's special boy" phase. He is a semi-important side character in this story.


He was the obnoxious rich kid back in highschool. Everybody hated him while some just used him for his money. Phillip still isn't aware about that to this day. He's more of a weakling rather than a fighter and compared to everyone else he's just the useless guy in every cliche horror movie.


His voice claim is Bling Bling Boy from Johnny Test. Phillip's voice should sound more congested and overall unlikeable when reading your lines.

Jamare Taylor, a 28yr old man who is one of Phillip's bodyguards. He's shown to be very masculine and professional when dealing with annoying or...disruptive individuals. He is an important side/main character within this story (and is Christian's love interest).



Jamare's personality consists of being a mysterious man, an untouched book who's never been able to get a good read on when someone gets to know him. He mostly keeps himself closed off from others and is brutally stone-cold honest when it comes down to it.


His voice claims are Shemare Moree from Criminal Minds and Howie Honeyglow from Epithet Erased. Make sure to get as close to either one of their voices as possible.

Detective Noelan Perkins is...well, you guessed it, a detective!


He works for the Brown Brick Bronx Police Department, being at the top of his department with his keen eye and his dedication with solving every case to the upmost perfection. Coworkers and other staff recognized his intellectual skills and made him head detective of his Department. Gaining the respect that he certainly deserves. 


Though his ego can get to his head sometimes, which is became one of his biggest weaknesses...


He's a serious, levelheaded, quick-witted individual who has a knack for solving problems. His role is semi-important to the story and may or may not lead to the crew either escaping and putting the criminal behind bars OR inevitably follow the same fate as the rest of them.
