Project Overview
An Introduction
GREETINGS FOLKS, thank you for taking the time to audition, or at least look into this fun little project. This is the audition page for "The Bronze Pyramid" series. At first this was just the page for the first episode, but now it's kind of become something which is covering far more. The Series overall covers the story of five individuals trying to survive against the tides of a city where fantasy tramples over the very understanding of reality.
For those of you who audition, first off, thank you, second off if you are chosen for a part, I will message you and send you a link for the discord. (BY THE WAY, YOU NEED DISCORD, OR AT LEAST SOME FORM OF CONTACT FOR ME TO SEND UPDATES TOO YA ON.) . When we do lines/recordings, we will do both group and isolated recordings based on what suits the scene/actor best.
For those of you who do not make it, fret not my friends, for we have other episodes, with other characters. Don't feel bad for auditioning and not getting a part now though. It doesn't mean you where bad, or that you sucked, it just meant you didn't click. Every step we take is another step towards the future, and it takes a lot of bravery to audition and step towards the future, so do me a favor. Even if you don't make it, still give yourself a pat on the back and a thumbs up in the mirror :D.
Who are we?
The Grand Pteranodon is a casual fun loving production company for stories, audio dramas, and various other art forms. We enjoy just mostly having fun and creating various pieces of entertainment as a means of sharing the fun we have.
What is The Bronze Pyramid
The Bronze pyramid originally started off as a ttrpg campaign played by a group of friends. Due too time restraints and difficulties of life, we decided to put the campaign on hold. This however was not the end of the story, and through planning and dreaming we have decided to transform it into an audio show.
The series follows five main characters and they’re attempting to survive a world where the wall between fantasy and reality is thin. They will have to fight gods, demons, monsters, and even a psychotic hand puppet inorder to survive and stop at the end of days. Each of these characters have been gifted/cursed by a power from legends, and each walks a fine line between fact and fiction, sanity and insanity.
What we ask for
Have fun, this is a fun project that we are doing for the sheer enjoyment of it.
Be respectful, as a director and a producer I do not have the tolerance for people who are impolite and cruel to others.
If you treat others without respect even after being casted, I will replace you. As an ensemble we must be able to work together, respect each other, and help each other.
Please know there are currently no deadlines for lines as we’ve just begun, this will be decided upon a majority decision made during the first episode production meeting.
We will try and be respectful of your time so long as you are respectful of ours. We understand lives are a thing and will have reasonable deadlines (Rome wasn’t built in a day...mostly due too strife and other conquering armies.)

Jyorris Sullivich is insane, his personality warped and twisted. At one point he was a kind and loving man who was both well respected and beloved by both his friends and family. However, things changed after an incident involving an ancient artifact known as the Ark'Illianor, which soon began to take over his mind, twisting him and warping him into a deranged, sadistic, psychopath who has no issues with killing and murdering others. There are however brief moments, where Jyorris gets to break free from the Ark'Illianor, where he gets to be human again. But during these moments, all he can feel is sorrow and pain for the sin he has burned into the world.
There is always such sweet silence, when all that is around you is the dead.
Oh...do you think it’s your nightmare...Amelia...this isn’t your nightmare...it’s mine...you’ve just been pulled in…
[We can hear the whirring of an electronic bone saw as Jyorris walks toward her.]
But I've had this nightmare playing out in my head for ages...always ending the same way...you know, like one of those nightmares where everyone's dead...except in this one I'm always looking down, and in my hands is the weapon…
[he looks down at the electronic bone saw.]
Oh look...there it is...the weapon...ah...this is that part of the nightmare isn’t it
*Sorrowful, preparing for his own death*
Ami...I'm sorry, I'm so sorry...I'm doing it again...I'm leaving you alone, all alone...
Dr. Vandal Landus is a professor of Anthropology and mythology at Oakville university, he is one of Ami's professors and is the one who has been helping her research the amulet. He is also one half of the serial killer known as the Oakville Butcher. He's a very intelligent cunning individual who does what he does not out of hate, but out of love. He believes that by doing what he does, he can save/fix these various individuals. His insanity is no mere Joker-esq insanity. His voice is kind, never mocking, it is the voice of a teacher, of a doctor, of someone who cares, someone who wishes to help, someone who loves.
I'll be honest, I feel like giving up, like staying isolated and away from life too just cry, I feel like breaking down and never building back up. But I am an Educator, and it is my job to be here for them, and whatever I am feeling they are too.....and I can not leave them too feel it alone.
They are broken....and I will fix them.
You cannot run, you cannot hide, sooner or later you will fail, you will give up. It's like an exam Ami, one you didn't study for, if you fail, there are no redo's, no bonus points, no extra attempts. If you fail, it all falls down, just like London bridge.
Alexander Saunders is a business man first, his voice is refined and controlled, calm and collected.

No, I don’t think we’ll be needing that, the man has been a client of ours for quite some time, but Nicoli despises him. He’ll gladly reschedule though if you're willing to work that out with him.
Jessie Vlurn is a young hearted hard worker who has an addiction too Facebook and social media. She's a happy go lucky individual who's often combined with a sense of helplessness or clueless nature.

Greetings, if you are watching this, then that means i’m currently dead, or within the grasp of. Before we begin, I would like to state that this is not a happy will, it is not the sort of will one wishes to have as a means of remembering they’re loved ones.
They say that death is not all that bad, but in reality it is worse than we think, far worse. It leaves within us a sense of dread, a sense of fear. A fear of what’s to come, a fear of what will happen afterwards, to your family...to your friends...I don’t think anybody wishes to go through this.
Gef is the pun loving ghostly mongoose familiar that serves under the Southworth family.

One of the editors, they act as a sort of psychopomp , making sure the dead move on too what ever afterlife best fits them.

This character is Valdichi's enforcer, they are a massive crocodile human hybrid that is personality wise more beast than man. Cocodrilo is mostly beast like sound effects as he's not a very verbal character. His existence should create this atmosphere of terror and fear, this character relies on more than just words, but on the atmosphere and climate, on that which he inflicts upon others.

The primary head of research at the forge initiative and Amelia's husband. Thomas is more naive than Amelia and not as in control of himself as he likes to think. It is for this reason that Isaac can so easily manipulate him. Thomas is only in a handful of episodes, much like his wife, he only ever really appears in audio logs picked up by his daughter.

This character is the classic reporter character from super hero comics, they're often considered pushy and annoying by many of the other characters and can sometimes stretch the truth to make things seem interesting.
This character can either be male or female dependent on the voice actor (if male it's Joan, if female It's Jonna)

Cinderblock is the leader of the Port Gang. They're considerably a large and muscular individual with a deep set voice (even if they're female) and a tendency for rash thinking and harsh violent mannerisms. Compared to many of the other characters, Cinderblock is just human, they have no powers or gifts other then their pure human brawn, which for the majority of past experiences, has been enough.
