Brewed Chaos: Proof-of-Concept
Project Overview
A quick-witted sorceress, A law abiding Paladin, A reckless tinkering Goblin, and an ADHD Rogue walked into a bar... now they're on adventures together. This short will feature our 4 heroes breaking into the dark castle of the Demon King to rescue the captivated 4 elemental princesses, but, something isn't right about this Demon King..
This is for a proof of concept for an irreverent, fast paced, character driven, banter-ful comedy. This proof of concept is about 8-10 minutes, and will be storyboarded and sent through crowdfunding to hopefully, with any luck, turned into an Episodic animated series. The issue lies in the fact that my budget is a little tight to get this off the ground. This is like a high fantasy parody world with focus on banter like the shows Archer, Rick and Morty, Futurama, (Shawn and Gus in Psych are also inspirations). While it's in its early stages of art development. I do have a script, character sheet, and am currently working on writing up a Pitch Bible so I will have all the documentation you could want to get to know these characters. I've filled most of the casting, just looking for a couple more roles to fill for the Proof of concept short episode.

Lead Character, an elven sorceress. she's sarcastic, impatient, a bit bombastic. Her quick wit and humor hide her greatest weakness - a bad adventure. Her relationship with the rest of the party keep the party glued together (although on paper it is made to seem that Paladin Dewey is actually the "leader"). She throws caution to the wind and with her reckless abandonment storms into conflict, often not entirely considering the weight of her actions. Inspiration for her character is derived from the likes of "Shawn" from Psych, "Bean" from Disenchantment, A splash of the dynamics seen in Archer and Rick and Morty.

Lead - Tabaxi Rogue. Aurora is a competent rogue but suffers from one fatal flaw: she's easily distracted by loot and all things cute. Her character is a parody of a person who creates the coolest and mysterious DND character and when it comes time to role play them, misses the mark by about a mile. She seeks to prove to the rest of the party that she's as cool as she wants to be, but falls short. While her color pallet may be greys with a dash of dark purples, her voice is cheerful and higher pitched.

My name is Aurora, love the boots by the way, quick misunderstanding. Why would the pendant of immortality be with a dead guy? Shouldn’t it have- like- stopped him from being a dead guy?
If I promise to never blindly try on magical items again will you please untie me? My arms hurt, there's a spot that itches on my nose, and this cloak won't stop narrating everything I do.
