Project Overview
Break A Leg! is an indie animated musical comedy-drama romance (I know, that's a lot of buzzwords) following a group of high school theatre students as they navigate friendship, identity, ambition, and the absolute chaos of putting on a show.
When grumpy, perfectionist theatre student Silas reluctantly auditions for his school's production of The Odyssey, the last thing he expects is to be competing against the overly-confident, charming, and annoyingly enthusiastic Achilles.
After being cast together as Odysseus and Polites, the two are forced to work alongside each other despite their constant arguing, dramatic personalities, and completely opposite approaches to theatre.
Silas sees acting as a way to prove himself, hiding behind sarcasm and anger whenever he feels vulnerable. Achilles sees theatre as a way to connect with people, bringing endless energy, humor, and heart into everything he does.
THIS IS AN LGBTQIA+ PROJECT! It's a male/male [MLM] romance with other queer sub-plots.
Expect absurd comedy, theatre chaos, heartfelt moments, and..
A lot of Greek mythology references.
