Bravely Second Opening

Project Overview

Hey there my fellow voice actors!

I really enjoyed playing Bravely Second and I made my own voice compare with the character Kaiser Oblivion and really liked how it turned out. So I figured I should just make a very small project of just the opening moments of Bravely Second! This project is pretty low commitment and I have no plan to dub anything beyond the first moment of the game. The most lines you will probably have are 10 depending on the character.

With all that said, I am hopeful that we can have fun with this!

Ohh and don't worry about copying the original VA. Feel free to give your own spin on these characters.... or don't, I'd be fine with an impression as well. I'll do my best to offer feedback when asked.

  • Update 2 DEADLINE EXTENSION

    Sooooo another deadline extension!


    My apologies, I got a couple messages from people who wanted to send me their audition via email because they missed the deadline and I didnt want their hardwork to go to waste....

    Greetings everyone!   


    I have extended the deadline by 5 days


    I have been so impressed with all of your auditions and every resubmitted audition.

Serious tone
You do not need to add any kind of helmet effect to your voice for Alternis, in the opening he is mostly reacting to what is happening in the battle.

  • (responding to the Grand Marshal) Have at you!

  • (Your attacks are not affecting the Kaiser) Preposterous!

The new Pope of Crystal Orthodoxy. She purged the corruption of the crystal orthodoxy and is about to sign a treaty that would usher peace between the Orthodoxy and the Duchy of Eternia. A very important figure in the world.

She fought hard to earn this peace and its slipping right at the end, she is desperate to win for peace but is concerned for Yew's safety and Pleads him to retreat.

  • After untold years of strife and suffering... The Crystal Orthodoxy and the Duchy of Eternia Have finally achieved our dream of peace!

  • I will not allow anyone to stand in our way!

  • (Realizing that the Kaiser is too powerful) Such Power...! Run, Yew!

Wants to protect Agnes and willing to die to do so, but also not exactly confident.

The Grand Marshall of Eternia, and Edea Lee's Father. He's rpugh around the edge's but he cares for his country and peace. Holder of the Templar Asterisk and Proud warrior. He fought many battles but he wishes peace.

Strong Warrior Tone
He is the leader of Eternia and commands his army. I'd like a voice that can reflect that. He is the oldest in the opening so a deep tough voice would suit this character.

  • A Declaration of war?...So be it!

  • The Grand Marshal of Eternia will strike you down where you stand! Alternis! To my side!

  • (Your attack having no effect on the Kaiser) Who-- What are you, Fiend!?

A mysterious Fairy who accompanies the Kaiser, Not too much is known about her (and I shouldnt go into spoilery stuff). She is the Kaiser's Advisor and the Kaiser isn't a good guy ^^

A matter of fact/High tone
Anne doesn't do any fighting, in fact she taunts the party for fighting her master. She wants to complete Kaiser Oblivions mission so she helps him. She has a good relationship with the kaiser and they cooperate to achieve their goals.

  • Bow down before he who will usher in a revolution! His Imperial Majesty, The Kaiser Oblivion!

  • (Warning the Kaiser of danger) Your Majesty! That Pendant...!

  • (convincing the Kaiser)Your Majesty, this one feels like trouble. Might it not be wise to kill him here and now?
