BQ Major roles/main character casting

"The Black Shepherd", a codename, is an enigmatic gunner working as the leader of Outpost Zeta (a military operation). He is about twenty-four, but seems far older, as he is a commander in a war, aging him internally. He doesn't talk much, but is still somewhat humurous and kind. Many people, such as Zach, Alcrest, and even Rainier, respect him.

Rainier thinks- or, rather, knows- that he is above consequences. He uses his powers either to commit crimes, or help save the world. One or the other. He is practically ALWAYS on an adrenaline rush- not to the extent of Daryn, but he’s always hyped up and raring to do whatever the hell he wants- but, if he does want peace and quiet, and you are being what he finds obnoxious, he’ll splatter you across the wall without a second thought. Even though he knows he could probably beat the others in a fight, he tends to use tactics he deems fair (he could just surround them in earthen armor and make that armor shoot spikes inside, tearing them apart) as not to ruin the fun and adrenaline for his combatants.

He doesn’t care. That’s one of the biggest things- Parents? Dead. Love of his life? Fused in a spiritual manner, never to be seen again. Father figure after his parents? Allied with the fiends in an attempt to become ruler of everything, told Rainier the truth about his past, and became the first person to witness one of Rainier’s Discord attacks. All of these are why Rainier are in his Wild state.

Zach is a teenager with pale skin, and short black hair. He is wearing black combat boots,gray athletic jeans, and a cyan hoodie with the right sleeve cut off. He has a black glove on his left hand.

Myst is the goddess of Life, Light, and Magic, being one of the strongest beings in this world. She is kind, matronly, caring, and overall a very loving and nice person. She spends a lot of her time reading and writing, if she isn't doing goddess things. However, her life was cut short when Notlim, King of Demons nearly killed Rainier, and she fused her soul into his body. This gave him the power to save the world, but sent him into a nihilistic depression.

Nobunaga is Rainier’s pet dog. He’s a gray corgi (Similar to Zwei) with a white underbelly, and wears sunglasses and a dog fedora. He has two katanas sheathed on his sides, and sometimes equips little dog roller skates.

No one knows where Nobunaga came from, he just appeared in Casa one day and swore his allegiance to Rainier. He speaks in random animal languages, and only Rainier can understand him. In combat, he either shoots lasers, breathes fire, can control of the elements, but also uses his Dogatana, or his Doginata, depending on what kind of technique he wants for battle. He has low HP and defenses, but is pretty powerful and fast. He is incapable of death.

Inugami Nobunaga makes him into a samurai. He looks exactly the same, just with a samurai helmet, and a tiny dog katana. This katana can be controlled via telekinesis and can be turned into any weapon in the franchise, even the Final Verdict. Inugami Nobunaga’s stats are just everyone else’s best stat (i.e. Daryn’s Strength, Rainier’s Magic, Zach’s Speed, Sigil’s Resistance and Defense, Shepherd’s Skill, etc), and he has the ability to teleport, summon Dragon Spirit-esque projectiles, shoot waves of energy from his anywhere, bork to shoot a thin laser, bork to shoot a massive laser, bork to shoot a series of laser rings, dig and come up with bones, then ignite them and throw them at you. They explode. He also likes comboing by changing his katana constantly into other weapons, and chaining you.

Lite is the queen of Seares, a good one, but at the same time, being twenty-three, her retainers help her with the job more than many. She holds a family bond with Rainier, despite his...actions. She has a somewhat fast speech pattern, but is slower when giving speeches.

Willow is the daughter of Zelgius (a villain), but is on the side of good. She was raised very sheltered-ly, so she's oblivious and naive, but has a kind heart. She has very little battle prowess, but wears heavy robes covered in random mystical relics she uses for her enchanting. She is a kind-hearted person, though very oblivious to most things.

Tera is a dancer who has a long, black waterfall of hair, and tan skin, with pink eyes. She is wearing a latex-and-spandex, skin-tight, silver chrome outfit, with rainbow on the inside of a collar-cowly-thingy-that-I’m-forgetting-the-name-of, and has two laser pistols that can change into dual laser machetes. She also has a red tail. She wields a pistol and a small sword in a similar fashion to Bayonetta

Daryn is a free-willed, overexcited, brute with a strange personality. He has the ability to withstand the effects of any drug used in a malignant form, and increased strength from lifting heated metal while smithing before he joins the party. His large, life-long adrenaline rush is caused from over consumption of alcohol and other things, along with his fuck this shit spirit. The only reason he joined the party in the first place was to get better and to protect the ones he loves, along with turning his life around. With the love of his life torn to pieces by fiends, and no real purpose other than to fight a pyrrhic war, he joins the party to attack at the source and be remembered as a hero. Though he keeps his personality and his fuck shit up attitude, he basically has PTSD and fits of rage that are not good for the enemy in front of him.

Alcrest has white hair, with deep blue eyes. He has relatively pale skin, as Mistrel is usually in the dark due to the general lack of sunlight. He wears a noble armor-vest, with pauldrons and gauntlets, but open cloth as well. Generally a very ornate get-up. At his side is a weapon built in Outpost Zeta and enchanted by powerful Mistrel magicians, Frostbite- half gun, half sword, elemented with Ice. He’s a noble, so he’s rather uptight and, to be honest, very Weiss-like. He doesn’t take shit, and keeps to himself. Due to this…

Yeah. He hates Rainier.

Mistrel itself is the ice country, lots of snowfall and not much sunlight. Due to this, he’s generally good in cold climates.

Notlim’s main weapon, Teufelklinge, is basically a chainsaw sword. It constantly has black tendrils waving from it, ready to jab and strike other points of the enemy as the blade itself does the most damage. This makes these attacks incredibly difficult to block. He has Umbramancy and Summoning, as well as Pyromancy, Electromancy, and Glaciomancy in his main form, and can create ethereal weapons out of mana and blast them at his opponents. He is, hands down, the best Umbramancer in the BQ universe, (not counting Hopeless Rainier) as he is basically the Shadow King. He’s your token bad guy, wanting to destroy and conquer Seares as they have “wronged him”.

Originally, he was gonna be a morally gray villain. Then I thought it would be more fun if we had a game filled with things like crippling depression, heartless murder, nihilism- and with a villain who’s about as deep as a kiddy pool.

He wears dark silver armor, with dark green skin, orange eyes, and sharp fangs. He has dark green hair, short, and two long horns. He wields a black chainsaw sword with dark energy flowing off of it, and dark rags hanging from the handle. His armor is jagged and fearsome, with demonic skull-like designs carved into the shoulders and a demonic face in the stomach/chest. His mouth is full of sharp fangs.

Lylat is an (ex) Fiend Lord, bearing the Ice and Fire elements. She has two swords, Infernus and Glacius. Infernus is golden with a flame pattern, whereas Glacius is silver with a spiky, icicle pattern. They have a red and blue handle, respectively.

She has pale blue skin, with white hair. Her hair has is long and cascades down.

One eye is red, the other icy blue.

Her armor is dark blue, with golden trim. It's rather light, but has extra armor on the shoulders and around the waist. She occasionally wears a long blue scarf with white trim. Her boots are somewhat like high heels, but combat-y. She also wears goggles, a scarf, a bandana over the head, so until she joins the group, you can barely see her skin at all.

She doesn't have a Soul Focus, but she still has a powerful form where she fuses her two swords into Astra, which deals both Fire and Ice damage with each swing

If compared to a human race, she seems more Asian, than anything else.

She's a fiend who joins the team when the player convinces her that Notlim's *gasp* NOT the good guy.

Personality wise, she kept to herself throughout the War, but after words, she let down slowly and became a fiery, passionate person.

Shadowtale is an Astral Fiend, so his skin is pitch black and looks like space. His hair is blueish white fire, as are his eyes. His weapon of choice, Sanguine, is a red crystal katana with a cross-like hilt. It is summoned at will. Shadowtale is actually the next in line as the Fiend King, but Notlim took control instead because he threatened to kill anyone who stopped him. Shadowtale has been training to take his rightful throne back, and does at the end of the games. Most of his magic is classified as either Twilight or Astral. Twilight attacks hit hard, and are things like exploding space Thoron or massive space jaws. Astral attacks hit fast, and are things like tons of shooting stars or quick teleportation strikes.

Zelgius is a former member who goes insane, collects weapons, and became insane via deals with Gnalla, a fiend general. he has dark purple, kinda-long hair (like Lyon from Sacred Stones), wearing black armor with a tattered cape (said cape is dark gray). He wields a great silver, black, and golden greatsword called Sieglinde. It has dark and lightning magic.

Sigil is a relaxed but adrenaline-fueled (literally) “man”, his soul powering the RJH. This power eventually evolved into the Signum, his cool energy sword. He stays calm and relaxed most of the time, but can get hot-headed quickly, and has a relatively short fuse. He is aware of what he calls “The Script”, laws of the universe that can be harnessed and effected, but not changed. He has little magic other than blast and primal attacks, but also has a small amount of lightning and wind attacks. Being powered by a soul, the RJH can rebuild and reform quickly, allowing him to fire off his limbs as weapons; it also lets him act exactly like a human, and he basically is, just with an inorganic body. This shell has a melting point of 2,500 degrees fahrenheit, allowing him to even swim through lava, albeit overheating quite a bit and needing to rest quite a lot afterwards. He can also survive easily at degrees as low as 22 kelvin; -500 degrees fahrenheit. Being hit with lightning attacks increases his stats.
