Boruto Abridged
Project Overview
This is an Abridged series for the anime Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. We will be skipping filler arcs and doing canon episodes. We may abridge them later as side stories while we wait for the anime to return. Although we may decide to just switch to a manga dub where the anime ends.

He's the Hokage which is basically the President of his village. He has a lot of work to do, and unfortunately his family life suffers because of it. His son thinks he's just a deadbeat who hates his family. In truth, Naruto is actually super paranoid about another threat like Kaguya happening, so he's always on edge and working hard. He genuinely cares about his family, and wishes that he could be two places at once. To him, he's showing his love for his family by working all the time to make sure another ninja war doesn't happen. He doesn't want his son and daughter to have to fight in a war at 16 like he did.
He isn't a super present character for a lot of this series, but he does appear quite a bit in certain arcs.

The clone of an evil scientist, Orochimaru. He's usually very nonchalant, blunt, and calm. He's also incredibly infatuated with Boruto. He describes himself as the moon, and Boruto as his sun that helps him shine. If someone threatens Boruto, Mitsuki is willing to lay down his life to protect him. He is capable of transforming into a perfect snake sage, and in this form his power has no limits. He's a member of the new Team 7 with Boruto, Sarada, and Konohamaru.

"The sun illuminates the moon. I am the moon, therefore Boruto is my sun" (Content)
"You adults can't tell me what to do! I will decide what I want for myself, by myself!" (Angry)
He's the attendant to the Hokage, and acts like a big brother to Naruto. He worries about Naruto overworking himself, and tries to make sure Naruto is taking care of himself too. Other than that, he's very aloof and wants everybody to think he doesn't care about anything. In reality, he cares a lot and he's an expert strategist.

Shikamaru's son and Boruto's best friend. He's aloof like his dad and always reluctantly joins Boruto's shenanigans.

Another one of Boruto's best friends. He's super blunt and always says what's on his mind, regardless of how it makes you feel. He's actually pretty neurodivergent coded so he only really has two tone of voices. He can be blunt and aloof, or frantic. He's on the new Team 10 with Shikadai, Chocho, and Moegi.

Big brother character and leader of the new Team 7. He's usually very frantic and anxious. But he's never afraid to step up to protect his team or his friends.
