Blue Lock: Audio Drama Match Adaptations

Blue Lock: Audio Drama Match Adaptations

Project Overview

This is a passion project created by Staiza Productions as both a tribute to one of my favorite manga, Blue Lock, and a way to gain experience adapting high-intensity sports action into audio drama format.

Currently in production is a soccer-themed audio drama series. As part of that journey, I’m adapting several Blue Lock matches for fun and practice, starting with:

  • Second Selection 2v2 Match (Isagi and Nagi vs Barou and Naruhaya

  • Second Selection 3v3 Match (Isagi, Nagi, and Barou vs Reo, Kunigami and Chigiri)

Future matches I plan to adapt include:

  • U-20 Japan National Team Match

  • Italy’s Uber Match from the Neo Egoist League

This is a non-commercial project meant for practice and creative exploration. I’m looking for voice actors who also want to gain experience and try something fun. Once the project is complete, you're welcome to use your recordings in your personal portfolio or however you’d like.

Important note: Please don’t try to imitate the official anime voices. I want to hear your version of these characters bring your own energy, interpretation, and performance style.

If you love Blue Lock and want to join a creative, low-pressure environment to build skills and have fun, this project is for you.

Yoichi Isagi

Unpaid

Yoichi Isagi is full of contradictions. He is smart and quiet, but also emotional and intense. At first, he is humble and focused on teamwork. He plays clean, supports others, and does not crave the spotlight. But deep down, he wants it. He wants to be the one who takes the final shot. Over time, that part of him rises to the surface. He learns that soccer is not just about effort. It is about vision, control, and ego.

Isagi’s biggest strength is how he sees the field. He reads positioning, predicts movement, and adapts faster than anyone around him. He is a strategist disguised as a forward. His plays are built in layers. Every step is calculated. Every pass, every shot, is part of a bigger picture only he can see.

But he is not perfect. He struggles with doubt. He gets frustrated when he fails or gets outplayed. He breaks down his own flaws, rebuilds his game, and comes back sharper. In those moments, you see him evolve in real time. He learns that greatness does not come from playing it safe. Sometimes, it means being selfish. Sometimes, it means risking everything for one chance.

Isagi exists in three modes.

When he is humble, he sounds grounded, respectful, and focused on the team.

When he is in calculated mode, his tone becomes focused, sharp, and methodical. He speaks like a tactician analyzing every move.

When he becomes unhinged, his voice surges with raw energy. He starts talking faster, more erratically, almost laughing at the chaos as he seizes control. This is Isagi when the ego takes over. Not wild for the sake of it, but dangerous because it is backed by precision.

He is not loud or flashy like a typical main character. His intensity builds from within. When he locks in, everything changes. His confidence becomes real. He shifts the entire mood of the game just by being present.

Voice Actor Note:

Please do not imitate the official English dub. I am not looking for a copy. I want your personal interpretation of Isagi.

This role demands range. You will need to balance three emotional states: the humble, team-first Isagi who questions himself, the cold and analytical version who calculates each play, and the unhinged ego-driven striker who takes over the match and dares anyone to stop him.

  • If there no light to guide me to a goal. I just have to become that light myself! I'm adapting to you. I'll take the darkness you created on this field...Then DEVOUR it...and change it into light!!!

  • I still regret that time I chose to pass that ended in my loss and tears. I don't need to be like I was back then. What I want most is to win. The time to change is now

  • (Unhinged) Just keep playing like you have been. And don't hold us back.. I'm saying don't get in our way. LOSER

Seishiro Nagi
open
Unpaid

Seishiro Nagi doesn’t care about much. He’s quiet, unbothered, and moves through life with zero effort. At first glance, he seems lazy or indifferent—but under that sleepy attitude is a once-in-a-generation talent. He doesn’t train hard. He doesn’t even like soccer at first. But when he plays, he pulls off insane moves like it’s nothing.

He’s not driven by pride or passion. He’s just good ridiculously good. But over time, something starts to change. He sees other players obsessed with evolving, with winning, and it sparks something in him. He begins to wonder: What if I actually tried? That curiosity turns into hunger. And that hunger pushes him to start creating his own path instead of following Reo’s.

His strength is how he plays without overthinking. His control, instincts, and reflexes are so sharp it’s like he’s predicting the ball’s future. But he struggles when things don’t go smoothly. He hates effort. He avoids pressure. That starts to break when he realizes soccer can be fun when it’s a challenge—and even more fun when he’s dominating.

When Nagi does get serious, his voice gets sharper cooler. There’s a chill confidence in how he talks. He’s not emotional, but his ego starts to show through subtle jabs or quiet defiance. He’s not here to prove himself to others he just wants to see how far he can go.

Voice Actor Note:

Please don’t imitate the official dub. I’m not looking for sleepy or flat. Nagi’s tone is laid-back, but there’s a natural cleverness and dry wit underneath it. His growth comes in small shifts: from passive to competitive, from dependent to independent.

He should sound unimpressed by most things, but also quietly intrigued by the idea of becoming unstoppable. When the script calls for a big moment, don’t shout make it sharp, make it cool. He’s a prodigy starting to care. That’s what makes him dangerous.

  • Isgai was wide open back there. Why Didn't you pass. Are you an idiot? There no point if we don't win

  • Those who can't win even after putting in all the effort are just weak guys, not worth the hassle

  • I hate feeling frustrated, so I don't want to lose anymore. It's not fun... unless I win

Reo Mikage
open
Unpaid

Reo Mikage is used to getting everything he wants. He is rich, talented, and has never had to struggle for success. Growing up, his life was perfectly planned, and he mastered everything he tried. But none of it felt fulfilling. When he found soccer, and more importantly, when he found Nagi, everything changed. He saw something special in Nagi and made it his goal to rise to the top with him.

At first, Reo is the playmaker. He supports Nagi, builds strategies, and plays for someone else’s success. He is generous, sharp, and highly adaptable. But over time, that devotion starts to wear thin. He realizes he does not want to be the guy behind the genius. He wants to be great on his own. His story is about stepping away from dependence and fighting for his own place in the spotlight.

Reo’s biggest strength is his versatility. He can shift roles, read the game, and support any formation. He is a natural leader with the skill to back it up. However, that same flexibility can be a weakness. He blends into other people’s goals too easily and forgets his own. When he finally plays for himself, he becomes more focused, more selfish, and more dangerous.

He is emotional, expressive, and intense. He feels everything deeply. His desire to connect and his fear of being left behind drive many of his choices. When he breaks, he breaks hard. But when he stands tall, he becomes a force to be reckoned with.

Voice Actor Note:

Do not try to match the official dub. Reo should sound passionate, smart, and emotionally grounded. In the beginning, he is charming and cooperative, but when his plans fall apart, he snaps. Show that emotional range. He can be calm and composed, but when he feels betrayed or fired up, the emotion should cut through clearly.

  • As long as I can win against Nagi, I don't care about anything else... I will make him say that he needs me

  • Nagi is the treasure that I found! And in this match, I'll steal him back

Shoei Barou
open
Unpaid

Shoei Barou is a king. At least, that is how he sees himself. He is intense, prideful, and completely unwilling to bend for anyone. He plays soccer like a lone emperor on the field, expecting everyone else to fall in line. From the moment he enters Blue Lock, he makes it clear that he is not there to make friends or follow orders. He is there to dominate.

Barou believes in strength through control. His movements are powerful, his shots are precise, and his mindset is ruthless. He thrives on overpowering others and hates being forced to adapt. But the longer he stays in Blue Lock, the more that attitude is challenged. He is forced to face the idea that being great sometimes means growing beyond your own ego.

His biggest strength is his raw intensity. He is a powerhouse striker who aims straight for the goal every time. He does not hesitate. He does not question himself. But that focus can also become a weakness. He struggles with teamwork, ignores opportunities that are not his own, and refuses to compromise. When he learns to evolve, he does not lose his pride. He sharpens it. He becomes even more dangerous because he learns how to balance his ego with strategy.

Please do not imitate the official English dub or try to copy Barou’s voice from the anime. I am not looking for a replica. I want your version of Barou.

The role needs explosive energy. Barou is not just angry for the sake of being loud. He is someone with pride, insecurity, and fire all tangled together. His voice should reflect someone who refuses to lose, refuses to follow, and refuses to fade into the background.

Start with raw arrogance and dominance. Then, when the script calls for it, shift into controlled fury. He becomes even more dangerous after he evolves. His confidence should feel earned, not just loud. He is not a villain. He is a king who had to learn how to grow stronger without giving up the crown.

  • Now hear me, suckers, and remember my words. For me, the ball isn't my 'friend' or any nonsense like that. It's just a spherical servant that exists solely so I can shine. On the field, I am the king

  • n your mediocre dreams. I'm the one who decides what I do. I live how I want to live, and I win how I want to win. This is my 'Imperial Philosophy

  • Who do you think you're calling...A "Loser"...I'm gonna kill you!

Hyoma Chigiri
open
Unpaid

Hyōma Chigiri is elegance built on restraint. He speaks softly, but with confidence. Every word is chosen with care, like someone who expects others to listen without needing to raise his voice. There is a quiet pride in how he carries himself. He does not try to control the room, but he commands respect the moment he walks in. He has the presence of someone born to lead, not chase.

For a long time, he was afraid to push himself. A devastating injury made him cautious. That fear made him hold back. But once he chooses to break free from that fear, his entire presence transforms.

When Chigiri runs, his voice becomes quick, forceful, and aggressive. His energy surges. His words hit faster, like rapid-fire declarations from someone who refuses to be caught. He sounds like a completely different person, charged with adrenaline and pride. The softness is gone. He is no longer holding back. This is Chigiri in full sprint, and no one can stand in his way.

He shifts between two modes. Calm and regal when still. Sharp and relentless when in motion. That contrast is what makes him unforgettable.

Voice Actor Note:

Do not copy the official anime or dub. I am not looking for an impression. I want your unique take on Chigiri.

Focus on his duality. Speak with quiet strength during his calm moments. Let him sound composed, thoughtful, and almost delicate. Then, during acceleration scenes, flip that energy completely. He should sound faster, louder, and completely locked in. Think of a royal figure who transforms into a hunter once the chase begins.

  • Outrun them! Let this rush carry you! I haven't felt this in so long. Outrunning someone is what soccer's all about for me! It's a joy only I get to experience

  • I know that the way you see it, you're all changed and all that edge lord sh*t... but as far as I care, I'll fight as if I'm still facing the same old you I knew

  • I don't care anymore. If it tears again, so be it. The best striker in the world... is me!

Rensuke Kunigami
open
Unpaid

Rensuke Kunigami is a hero in the purest sense. He stands for fairness, effort, and doing things the right way. While many players in Blue Lock are fueled by ego, deception, or desperation, Kunigami pushes himself forward through honesty, discipline, and strength. To him, soccer is more than a game. It is a path to prove that hard work and moral character can compete with talent and selfishness.

He trains with total focus, eats clean, and lives by a personal code. He wants to become a soccer superhero someone kids can look up to, someone who wins because he earned it. His presence is calm, his voice steady, and his eyes always fixed on the goal. He is not loud or flashy, but everything about him radiates purpose. He carries himself like someone who knows exactly who he wants to be.

Kunigami is not just powerful. He is thoughtful and deeply moral. He believes in giving his all, but never at the cost of his values. He respects the game and those who play it fairly. When others cheat, showboat, or start fights, he is the one who steps in and sets the tone. He often comes off like a big brother protective, rational, and unwilling to let troublemakers win.

Despite his serious nature, he is not cold. He knows how to relax and enjoy life, and he is humble when praised. He can get flustered or awkward when someone compliments him, and those rare moments reveal a softer side underneath all the strength. He is passionate about soccer, loyal to his beliefs, and quietly grateful for the people who believe in him.

His biggest strength is his power. His shots hit with brutal force. He is physically built like a warrior, and when he moves, it is with clarity and purpose. His playstyle is clean, direct, and dangerous. When the pressure is highest, Kunigami keeps moving forward.

Voice Actor Note:

Do not copy the anime or official dub. I want your version of Kunigami.

He should sound like a young Superman or Captain America. Calm, grounded, and deeply principled. His voice should be strong but kind. He is not cocky or aggressive. He speaks with quiet authority and earns respect through presence, not volume.

Asahi Naruhaya
open
Unpaid

Asahi Naruhaya is the underdog clinging to a dream. He knows he’s not the best player in Blue Lock. He knows he’s not the fastest, strongest, or most naturally gifted. But he believes he can outwork everyone else. He tells himself he’s strong. He convinces himself he has what it takes. Because this is his only shot and if he loses here, there’s nowhere else to go.

He’s desperate, and he covers that desperation with jokes, ego, and fake confidence. He talks big. He laughs too loud. He gets in people’s faces. But underneath all of that noise is someone terrified of being left behind. He’s the comic relief character trying not to become a footnote. The guy who shouts the loudest because he’s the most afraid.

Naruhaya plays with scrappy energy. He doesn’t have a natural weapon like the others, so he copies, steals, adapts. He survives by watching better players and doing whatever it takes to stay relevant. That survival instinct makes him unpredictable. He is not polished, but he is dangerous, because he is willing to risk everything.

Voice Actor Note:
Do not imitate the anime or dub. I want your personal take on Naruhaya.

Color Commentor (Narrator)
open

Color Commentator / Narrator
This is the voice that brings the chaos of Blue Lock to life. Fast-paced, dramatic, and overflowing with energy, the Color Commentator acts as both a narrator and a hype engine. They react to plays in real time, explain what just happened, and amplify every twist, comeback, or ego clash with pure excitement.

They are not a neutral observer. They are a fan, a critic, and a drama addict all rolled into one. Whether they are in awe of a powerful goal, laughing at a character’s breakdown, or shouting through a reversal, they are always fully invested.

This voice should feel like it belongs courtside. Bold, emotional, and quick with a metaphor. They are the glue between moments. The spark that makes big plays feel bigger.

  • WAIT A SECOND!! WHAT'S THIS?! Barou... just let it go?! NO WAY—HE SURRENDERED THE BALL. You heard right, folks—Barou, the self-proclaimed King—just unconsciously handed over the spotlight

  • BAROU IS UNLEASHED!! This isn’t football anymore—it’s chemical warfare on the field. They don’t pass. They devour. Synergy not through harmony… but through chaos
