Blossoming Dog (Animatic)
Project Overview
Hello everyone, this is a story where everything goes wrong. The dog gets angry, the flower girl gets yelled at, the cat , oh, she just tries so hard on trying to get herself what she wants- and somehow, she fixes the problems for everyone unconsciously on her way. Maybe because it's a beautiful day of blossoms. And people's hearts blossoms when a little cute creature scrambles around and bring unexpected surprises for everyone.
This project is currently being developed as an animatic in Blender with 2D drawings over it, and goes for a cinematic and emotional tone. As this is a passionate portfolio film aiming for a cinematic tone, any feedback and collaboration is deeply appreciated.
Expected to finish half of it by the end of next week, and fully complete in November. Unpaid but credited, you'll receive the final animatic copy.

One of the main characters for the animation. He is a dog with a voice of a 30ish man and has been kept on a leash so long that he only wants to sleep. Is constantly annoyed by the cat Wind because she persistently wants to play with him. Secretly envies Wind because master doesn't keep her shut in the room (and can't anyways). Is drawn to sakura flowers during the blossom season. (You will also need to do some barking for this role too)

Who is the mighty cat Wind? Bearing Claws, gnashing teeth, eyes sharp full of the call of the wild, she pounces on her prey - her beloved mouse toy- and wins showers of compliments from Master once again!
Wind is cute, lovable, but sometimes just too sure-footed for her own good, and wants to bring happiness to everyone in the household- which includes Dog Golden, which she refers to "the grumpy guy next door that always don't want to get up". She doesn't quite understand why Golden is always sleeping, and learns the hard way of how to behave when she crosses Golden's boundaries.

Riding a bike filled with flowers, she appears on street next to the house where our story takes place. However, with blinded eyes, she mistakenly sold a bouquet of roses with some already half-withered, which triggers the anger of the buyer.

I'm sorry for the inconveniounce, Madam.
A strict woman that counts every penny for its value. She lashes out her anger when being sold a bouquet of roses that have some withering ones hidden within.

Who is Wind's most loyal servant? This undoubtly would be her master, the household that spoils the cat and sometimes forgets to take the dog for a walk. Ok, maybe most of the time. But some people just needs to be constantly reminded that this is a household of 3, not 2.
