Project Overview
Blood of the Royal is a Gacha animated series based in the 1500s. The story follows a 15 year old girl named Viola. She is on the run from the kingdom’s guards but she doesn’t know why. Throughout the story she’ll meet knew friends (and foes) all with a purpose. Finding her past is a difficult challenge. With twists and turns she never knows where she’ll end up in this life. But one thing is certain, every move made in the present, can destroy the future of the kingdom.

Viola is a kind character. She is always looking to help others despite what they think of her. Her voice is often filled with sadness but she finds the little things in life.
Happy: “We did it!”
Sad: “I never thought it would end like this…”
Angry: “I told you the truth! What else will you take from me?!”
Princess Olive isn’t the average spoiled princess. She wants what’s best for the kingdom, or what she believes is best for the kingdom. She is skilled in archery and is often seen with a bow and arrow. Her voice is obnoxious but not to the point where it’s annoying.
Happy: “another day in the kingdom!”
Sad: “you know what you did!”
Angry: “you think I don’t know that?!”
Melis, or Mel is a hunter inspired by Viola’s bravery. She is a tough character who’s sweet on the inside. Who knows, maybe there’s a different meaning in her name, perhaps in the Latvian language? Mel has a voice similar to Viola, but deeper.
Happy: “you know, I always knew we’d make it!”
Sad: “why? Why would this be how it ends?”
Angry: “it’s not like I had a choice!”
Prince Leon is the crown prince of the kingdom. He spent most of his life preparing to be king, but now Viola threatens that. He is very protective of his younger sister. Leon has a strong voice filled with the confidence of a king.
Happy: “ha! You thought you could win?”
Sad: “I told you! You don’t listen now we’re here!”
Angry: “this- this is all because of you!”
Calvin has a dark past. From that he has a scar across one of his eyes. Few know why, but maybe it has something to do with how Viola got lost at birth? He is very tough and acts like he knows everything. His voice is strong and independent but it sometimes breaks.
Happy: “your stronger kid.”
Sad: “why did it have to end like this?”
Angry: “I lived a perfect life before you came!”
King Ericson II comes from a long line of rulers. He seems tough on the outside but some have said he has a soft spot. After the death of his wife, (the queen) he grew more secretive than ever, maybe one of those secrets has something to do with Viola? Who knows. Ericson has a deep voice which sounds like how one would imagine a dark chocolate.
Happy: “I long to see the kingdom thrive!”
Sad: “The thing that I built is falling, because of you!”
Angry: “Scoundrels, all of you!”
