Project Overview
Blood Lad Abridged is a non-profit fan-based parody. Blood Lad is owned by Brain's Base, Viz Media, Hanabee, Anime Limited, and Yuuki Kodama.
Short description of the original plot: Staz C. Blood is an OP otaku vampire who rules over the East Territory of the Demon World. After finding a human girl (who ends up getting mauled by a demon flower and turns into a ghost), he's determined to bring her back to life while giving the human world a few visits along the way.
My friend Explodicy and I decided to start this project due to our common interest of this series, keeping in mind that this is an abridged of a series that already doesn't take itself seriously.
The first episode has already been scripted, recorded, and is currently in the visual editing phase while the audio is complete.
The second and third script have been written, but are still in the drafting phase.
Yes, there are pre-casted roles for the simple fact that several scripts have already been written and the first episode is almost ready to be uploaded.

Saty is the owner of the "Third Eye Cafe" in the Demon World along with her pet, Mamejirou. Despite being silent in the anime, we'll be having her mumble insulting things about her most common customer (and the main character of the series), Staz.
She also tends to reveal her hatred toward Staz when he's not around.
An ideal tone for this character would be somewhat whispery or mumbly, but sassy.

Wolf is the aggressive best friend (and worst enemy) of Staz who joins him on his merry quest to turn Fuyumi human. He's the boss of the West Territory and, despite loving a good fight, gets bored of all of the weaklings in his territory.
An ideal tone would be a sort of constantly passively angry anime teen, but feel free to play around with voices!

Franken Stein is the creator of the main villain of the series, Akimu Papladon, but still helps Staz with his plans as well as Braz with his, making this character a neutral to anti-hero character.
Preferred is a low, serious tone, but please feel free to play around with the voice!

Okay, first of all, fuck you for thinking I'd help you just because you gave me the corpse of a spacial magic user.
Daddy Wolf is Wolf's father and the king of the Demon World (who should honestly be kinkshamed). He's the murderer of Staz's, Braz's, and Liz's father, which caused him to become king in the first place. He's certainly a player of sorts and is very confident.

Braz D. Blood is Staz's hotter older brother. He's very suave and often uses his charm and flirting skills to get out of tough situations. He hates his brother for his intense power and doesn't take very good care of his little sister Liz either.
This man needs to be a sexy beast. Preferred is something not too low, seeing that he is an anime dude and a young adult.

Liz, would you be a dear and capture your brother? Possibly throw him in prison and have him brutally mauled by your assistants? Thank you.
Mr.Yanagi is Fuyumi's strict father who catches Fuyumi with Staz after finding out she hadn't been at school the day before. He gets hypnotized by Staz later.
The Hydra Family Butler will be played by the same voice actor cast for this role, seeing that the Butler is Mr.Yanagi's Demon World counterpart.
Any stern fatherly tone will do, as long as it can move into a more polite butler tone.
(Furious)

(Going from very angry to hypnotized-calm)

go have fun at school with Staz who is totally awesome. Now will you excuse me while I shove my hand down the garbage disposal. Oh woe is me what a clumsy oaf I am.
The Zombies are Liz Blood's personal fighters and bodyguards in the prison she runs. They beat the shit out of Staz (since they're extremely powerful and fast) and get annoyed by him constantly.
They can sound a bit zombie-ish, but please don't make it too raspy or groan-y so the dialogue is still easy to understand!

Hydra Nyen is the sexy, femme-fatale mother of Hydra Bell, Hydra Knell, and Fuyumi and the wife of Heads Hydra (who absolutely adores her).
She's motherly, but very sexy and seductive.

Akimu Papladon, formerly known as Pantomime, is the main villain of Blood Lad. He's made up of a bunch of demon body parts, which he switches out by killing other demons.
His personality switches from deranged and bloodthirsty, to curious, to sweet and misunderstood constantly, making him rather hard to read for other characters.
Preferred is a more high-pitched and raspy tone, but you're free to play around with the voice!
