Black/POC VA’s Needed for The Captain and First Mate Oliver
Project Overview
Introduction
Hello everyone! This is a casting call for our two roles of our project. I am not the creator, I am a voice actor on the project who believes this production will go far! This project is in the early stages of production. This will be a pilot that we hope to present to prospective sponsors. At the moment, this would be considered a passion project. We do not currently have a budget but we are hoping to get sponsors in the future.
Overview
The story is roughly about a crew of pirates that explore the Bermuda Triangle.
Deadlines and Auditions
We hope to start production in June, with that being said we would like to provide enough time for casted VA’S record their lines with little stress on time. This is not a hard deadline, but we would like to have all auditions by March 8th.
What to expect
This is not a large time commitment, however, it is a long-term commitment. If the pilot does well you will most likely be asked to be a permanent member of the team. We are also a predominantly LGBT+ team, so we do ask that you be an ally if not LGBT+ yourself. Please keep this in consideration before auditioning, we are only looking for respectful individuals that are interested in the long haul.
What we ask of you
Please refrain from auditioning for these roles if you are not black in any way! POC roles are scarce as-is and there is no shortage of POC talent, this is not up for discussion.
We ask you to at least be an LGBT+ ally.
These are singing roles, so we ask you to be comfortable with your singing voice.
Our team is in contact completely through Discord, so please already have it or be willing to download it.
Be very open to a collaborative setting and willing to give and receive constructive criticism to and from other team members.

(Deep Voice, Bass/ Baritone) He's a tough guy but he's got a softer side to him that's evident in his voice.
The way I see it, she already has one of us picked out anyways. She just doesn't want us to kill each other over it.
