📌 PROJECT OVERVIEW
We're a Japanese YouTube channel producing BL (Boys' Love) manga-style animated videos, and we're expanding into English. We already have an established English channel with an existing audience.
You would be stepping in as the new voice for the characters — feel free to check out our previous videos for reference!
We have 400+ existing videos in Japanese and are looking for English voice actor to bring one of our two leads to life.
The series is an omnibus format — the same two protagonists appear in every episode in different scenarios and settings.
This is a paid, long-term project. We start with a test batch of 2–3 episodes to confirm mutual fit. Once things are up and running, our goal is a steady, ongoing pace of around 2–3 episodes per week, so this is a role with the potential for consistent, recurring work over the long term (6+ months) rather than a one-off.

Clean recording environment (minimal background noise/reverb)
Comfortable performing BL content (every episode includes kissing and romantic/suggestive scenes between the male leads, within YouTube's content guidelines)
Able to commit to a long-term, ongoing project (6+ months)
Reliable, consistent turnaround times, and responsive communication throughout
Rate: $0.35 per line. Itsuki's lines run roughly 70–100 per episode, so payment typically comes to about $25–$35 per episode. (Rate is set; volume varies by episode.)
Because this is an ongoing role at a steady 2–3 episodes per week once established, the work adds up to consistent recurring income rather than a single payment.
Initial test batch: 2–3 episodes to confirm mutual fit, with strong potential for long-term continuation as the English channel grows.
Payment method: Paid via Wise (international bank transfer). Payment lands directly in your bank account, and we cover the Wise transfer fee on our end. Please note this means you'll need to be able to receive a standard bank transfer (i.e. provide the bank details Wise needs to deliver the payment). We want to be upfront about this from the start.
Scripts are provided as a spreadsheet with line-by-line text and reference to the original Japanese video.
Recordings are delivered as separate files, one per line, named by the line ID from the script (we'll explain the simple naming when you start). This keeps our editing pipeline running smoothly.
One confirmed take per line for the final delivery (you're welcome to keep alternates on your side).

3. Your recording setup (microphone model, recording software, and a brief description of your recording environment)
4. Whether you have experience with anime/manga dubbing or BL content

Voice Actor
■ ITSUKI TACHIBANA (立華 樹) — Seme
Personality: Outwardly gentle, calm, and easygoing with an air of mystery. Effortlessly talented. Comes across as laid-back and hard to read, but when the moment calls for it, he can flip a switch — showing an intense, almost intimidating edge. Knows exactly how to get under Ren's skin (in a good way).
Voice type: Medium pitch, smooth and warm. Reassuring but never stiff. Should be able to shift between soft teasing and quiet intensity.
KEY TRAIT: The contrast between his usual gentle tone and the occasional sharp, commanding moments.
Are you okay? First, just calm down and try to relax.
Physical contact is actually a real form of therapy. The more contact, the more effective it is.
