Beyond the Veil Pilot
Project Overview
Beyond the Veil is an Indie animation musical TV show. I(Cooper Potts) am the Director, co-producer and star of the show. Right now the only thing that’s slowing down our progress our funds(because we kinda don’t have any) and that we barely have any animators.. but we have a group of about four or five writers a couple of musicians and a cast of over 30 people. I’m hoping to get the pilot out by the end of next year. *LEAD* 17 yrs old trans girl. She is a descendant of the Hindu goddess Durga. She is beautiful but fierce. Because she is transgender she should have a deep voice. **MUST BE ABLE TO SING** would also prefer if the actor/actress is African-American to have the most accurate representation of this character.
“You seriously think that all of us are vain and focused on beauty? One thing you forgot, is that Durga it’s also the goddess of destruction and war so you better watch your back, bitch.”
Sing a verse or two of a song that matches the character’s personality and that shows off your range.
This is an indie project intended for YouTube. I’m being completely honest. I don’t really know anything about animation so whatever software you use the most I guess is fine. Must be able to do to 2D animation similar to the owl house and helluva boss. It is also a musical as well so I would appreciate if you were good at lip syncing the audio to the characters. Also as well as animating scenery.

Fujin is the Japanese god of wind. His debut appearance is in the first episode of the series. In the first couple of lines he has his voice is very deep. It kind of sounds like that cave from Aladdin. But when the onions actually sees him, he has a very fruity nonchalant voice. If you want to know my inspiration, it is malphas from the owl house. The name of the episode is through the Looking Glass. *MUST BE ABLE TO SING*

The drawing style is very cartoony. Similar to the owl house and Helluva Boss. Must be good at drawing characters and storyboarding.

We need help finding people to make music for the show! We have plenty of singers and some people who play instruments, but we need more instrumentalists. For background music and actual songs.
