Beneath The Cosmic Waves Synopsis:

Running from her grief, 26-year-old Sloane moves to a seaside retirement community where all encounters point her toward the library, and it doesn’t take much reading between the lines for her to realize something very sinister is going on below the surface. With the help of her unusual neighbor Darcy, the only other young person in town, Sloane stumbles upon the adventure of a lifetime. Sincere, campy, and raw, this thrilling, women-led sci-fi drama is a story about finding friendship and connection in an increasingly technology-dependent world, all set against the backdrop of cults, libraries, the ocean, and aliens.

I'm looking for people to voice these characters with the heartfelt and sarcastic realism of 2011 Doctor Who.

Hi, my name is Kelty Greye. I'm an autistic musician and writer. This is my first audio drama and I am SO excited to move forward on this project! I have my crew, and now I'm looking for my cast! 

I've recently gone back to college, and I didn't have a budget for this show. So I've started a fundraiser, and all of the money from that will go to the cast and crew of this project. So I'm not exactly sure how much I'll have to pay you yet, but I'll know by the audition deadline.

  • Casting Update!

    Wow, we had over 4800 amazing auditions!! You are all so incredibly talented and we've had so much fun going through all these submissions! It's been magical hearing so many voices breathe life into these characters!

    We'll be announcing our official cast sometime in early June on our Instagram page @BeneathTheCosmicWaves, so follow us there for updates. :)

    We had approximately 13 roles to fill, and nearly 5000 auditions to choose from (and yes, we listened to every one of them!). So if you didn't get picked this time, don't worry, we're coming back for season 2 and we'll have a lot more characters and opportunities for you!

  • (bubbly, fast paced, genuine but odd) I wouldn’t leave any trash out, if I were you. It can get pretty Alfred Hitchcock around here with all the birds. One time I watched two seagulls fighting over a single french fry, it got bloody. The other birds formed a circle to watch their friends fight. One of the old ladies in the unit above me tried to break it up, but they all went after her. That was pretty freaky. First came the infection, then hospitalization, and boom! Next thing you know, her family was down here making funeral arrangements. If you ask me though, death by seagull is a badass way to go.
