Final Fantasy 7 - Before Crisis English Fandub
Project Overview
The original story for Final Fantasy 7 is extremely vast, spreading across many games, books and movies.
Many fans of the series have gone through every detail to get the full story from Final fantasy 7 but many of them are unaware of one thing.
Before Crisis, the lost FF7 game we never managed to get. A prequel to Crisis Core.
This game was only ever released on Mobile, in Japan, in Japanese. Which is unfortunate for us.
How many of you watched the Advent Children movie, or the end movie from the game following the credits and thought "How does Red have kids?"
Maybe you wondered where The Turks or Avalanche came from
These are a few story pieces that people never got an answer too sadly, so I think it's about time we fixed that,
I have obtained an English fan made copy of the game and as a team, I would like to bring this story to life and share it with those who either never knew it existed, or just couldn't read Japanese. Naturally I can't do this myself. I need your help to do this.
Some of the positions from this project are already filled and therefor will not be listed. I myself run a team named Tsunamods and we are currently creating a playable voice acted mod for the original Final Fantasy 7 named "Echo-S". Final Fantasy 7 and Before Crisis naturally share a good amount of characters and to keep out team and our projects consistent those same actors will be playing those same roles.
So I very much look forward to hearing from you all and possibly working with you on this project. and maybe even Echo-S if you enjoy working with us.
VOICE LINE INSTRUCTIONS PLEASE READ BELOW
We are holding auditions for this a little different to most people. Audition lines will not be given (Other than the fact it forces me too).
What we would like you to do is:
A short made-up mission briefing about anything you like. No mater how real, or stupid, it can be anything at all.
You will not be judged on the state of the briefing, just the deliverance. So have fun with it.
You, as a member of the Turks or Avalanche are each a part of an organization that is very serious.
So please tell your comrades about the mission you are assigning to them all. You can give them all 1 job or create teams.
Go nuts with it. The aim to this is that these characters have never had a voice, we don't want you to become them in your acting.
Other than the given descriptions, we want them to become you, make it feel more genuine.
In my experience this both yields better results given the freedom the actor has to play with their character.
(I would make an explainer video but it would just be this wall of text in video form. Maybe we'll stick up a trailer when we can)

With unkempt auburn hair, Rod wears the standard Turk uniform of black suit with black tie, white undershirt and brown boots.
A cocky and headstrong ex-bike gang member, Rod's arrogance due to constantly defeating anyone he came up against influenced his decision to attempt to steal from the Shinra. He was humbled with the Turks' arrival who showed him he was not as strong as he had thought. Now working as a Turk, Rod intends to become the best by working with the best, harboring aspirations of assuming leadership of the group one day.
Like Reno, Rod's speech is informal, casually addressing everyone in the same crude way no matter their status, a habit that irritates Gun. Rod is an expert in the area of maintenance and repair of motorcycles, and is a skilled driver.
Rod spent his time getting into turf wars with other gangs and riding about on various stolen motorbikes. Made the leader of his gang at the age of 18, Rod towering self-confidence allowed the members of his gang to place full trust in their young leader. Having come so far and never knowing defeat, he lived life with the certainty nothing could take him down. It was that sense of pride that prompted him to test out his skills by trying to steal a motorbike from the Shinra garage.
Rod was caught and arrested by Reno. Recognizing his skills could be used to aid the Turks, Veld offered Rod a place in his organization.

A stern, serious young woman like her father, Gun's skill with guns and her steadfast personality have gained her Tseng's trust. She is loyal and will stick by her comrades in a fight; betrayal being an alien concept to her. The one flaw in Gun’s personality lies in her stubbornness. She sees the world in a linear fashion, and any deviation from that perception is unwelcome to her. Others may accuse her of being rigid, for she will often refuse to budge from her stance if she thinks she is right.
While she usually stern, Gun isn't adverse to friendly banter and occasionally makes wry quips about absurd situations.
Born in the Midgar Slums, Gun entered the Shinra Military School where her father was an instructor. Under the stern tutelage of her father, Gun became a top marksman and eventually surpassed her teacher in the art. Graduating the school with honors at the top of her year, she was recruited into the Turks upon graduation.

Having been raised by them, she came to realize that while the company has done questionable things, they have brought progress to the lives of countless people and thus supports the company.
As a young girl, Cissnei was discovered in an orphanage, and raised to become a Turk. Encouraged to believe everyone is a potential enemy, she took her training seriously and became the youngest member ever to join the Turks. Recruited part-way through the game, she first appears in Episode 7 when Veld decides to expand the Turks' ranks to deal with Avalanche threat.
Martial Arts wears the standard Turk uniform of black suit with black tie, white dress shirt and brown boots.
As a mercenary, Martial Arts has seen a lot of battle and due to the nature of her job, is used to taking orders. A thoroughly business-like woman, she gets her work done with a minimum of fuss. She is level-headed, alert and perceptive, and is able to assess a situation and take the most prudent course of action.
Martial Arts almost exclusively uses male speech patterns and behaviors when socializing, possibly due to her mercenary lifestyle. Although she does retain feminine traits, she became, essentially, "one of the guys".
Following a recruitment drive for the Turks to assist in dealing with the growing threat of AVALANCHE, Martial Arts was a mercenary before her skills gained her an offer of recruitment into the Turks.

Katana's formidable reputation is contrasted by his love for beauty. He tends not to stay in one place for long but is a long-time serving member of the Turks. As such he is one of the most senior of the playable characters.
Katana had something of a reputation in his hometown, Gongaga, as a powerful and skillful swordsman. When a friend of his was kidnapped, Katana went to rescue him alone. The story has it that Katana arrived at the place his friend was being held and single-handedly defeated all the operatives in the area.
While his friend was presumably freed, Katana himself was put into prison. His only way out came from the Turks, who recruited him, telling him that he would be free to leave if he would offer his formidable talent to their service. He did, and has been with the Turks for many years.
