We are currently seeking voice actors for a special animatic that will be released in celebration of the comic’s one year anniversary in October. This will be an unpaid project. 

If you’re interested in auditioning, please refer to the casting call announcement video for voice references and adhere to the guidelines below:

  • Applicants must be 18+

  • Any usage of AI will not be tolerated.

  • Please use a suitable microphone that does not record excessive background noise/peaking/clipping.

  • Attempt at least two variations of each line and submit in AABBCC format.

  • Include your discord with your audition.

    Hello all!


    Thank you to everyone who has auditioned for the project thus far. The shortlistings have now been completed.

    For ease of communication, we will be continuing with the callbacks on Discord as not to clog up the submission box on CCC. We ask that everyone who has been shortlisted join the server listed at the bottom of this update. Someone on our team will be providing you with notes on your performance to get closer to what we're looking for.

    For those who have not been selected, you are still welcome to join the server as well! There may very well be a need for more talent in future projects.

  • Shortlisting Starting 9/8

    Hello all!

    Just a quick update regarding our progress for casting. We will be shortlisting auditions beginning on the 8th, but the project will still remain open until 9/15.

    If you get shortlisted, someone on our team will reach out with a few directional notes. You will then have until 9/15 to resubmit your audition.

Silas is kind-hearted boy who has a bad habit of wandering off. While he can be brash and impulsive, he is also surprisingly perceptive. He will usually put other’s needs before his own.

Vocal Notes:
Silas’ voice is the epitome of a younger brother: bright and adolescent. It is on the higher side, easily able to express his enthusiasm and unmistakably a ten-year-old boy. That being said, he has the ability to take on a more pensive, somber tone that is unusual for a child his age.

Silas’ older sister. She is usually the one who calls the shots. Although she doesn’t have much patience for her brother, she is very protective of him. She is skilled with a rifle.

Vocal Notes:

Although she is a fourteen-year-old girl, Mara’s voice reveals someone who has grown up too quickly. She speaks firmly, confidently, and with no-nonsense. However, cracks occasionally appear in her otherwise serious demeanor, and her tone must be able to hint at her true emotions lying under the surface. Mara will have a largely narrational role for this particular project.

A solitary traveler who likes to keep to himself. Despite his short temper and standoffish nature, he has trouble turning his back on those in need. Perhaps it’s the pack instincts.

Vocal Notes:

Grim's voice is gruff and stays in a mid-level range most of the time. Occasionally, it can get a bit higher for comedic effect. His voice should be flexible enough to express disgruntled sarcasm and true fury as separate emotions, while also being capable of conveying an undertone of deep care and concern despite a guarded demeanor. Because this character is queer, we would particularly love to hear from trans/queer voice talent.

A mysterious stranger who seems to have a history with Grim. He is calculating and rather unsympathetic to others. They also have a strange sense of humor.

Aeon Vocal Notes:

Aeon’s voice carries a constant smug, mocking tone that hints at how this person should not be trusted. However, there is a breathy, seductive undercurrent… particularly with lines directed at Grim. Aeon’s voice does not need to sound explicitly masculine or feminine. Ideally, it should be somewhat androgynous. Because this character is gender-neutral/nonbinary, we would particularly love to hear auditions from trans/queer voice talent.
