Silas’ older sister. She is usually the one who calls the shots. Although she doesn’t have much patience for her brother, she is very protective of him. She is skilled with a rifle.
Vocal Notes:
Although she is a fourteen-year-old girl, Mara’s voice reveals someone who has grown up too quickly. She speaks firmly, confidently, and with no-nonsense. However, cracks occasionally appear in her otherwise serious demeanor, and her tone must be able to hint at her true emotions lying under the surface. Mara will have a largely narrational role for this particular project.
