Beastars Manga Dub Passion Project

Howdy. I am part of a project running a complete manga dub of Beastars. This is not a professional grade end product. This is for fun. Sessions are held in a recorded Discord call, and everything is done in more-or-less one take to preserve the feeling of a first read. Memes and Ad-libbing are highly encouraged. This casting call is not for any specific character, but rather to collect auditions to see who might be a good fit to fill out the voices we're missing/type of voice we need. As of Dec 23 we've gotten up to around chapter 72 or so. The server upon which the project is held is currently undergoing revamp and maintenance, so don't expect much until the new year in terms of responses from me. Sessions are a couple chapters meeting a couple times per week for a one-and-done recording. Mess-ups and flubs are included as well before the whole thing after editing is posted to youtube.

This is a project that is not going to be perfect. The flaws make this project what it is. Before anything else, this project is made by all of us purely for the sake that we love the Beastars series. We hope you love it just as much as we do.

Please audition below. Specific characters are fine. I'd prefer to see you "acting" in your auditions. Mimicry is a great talent but we're looking for actors that can bring the characters of the manga to life, not any specific voice either from Elson Wong's fandub nor the japanese voices.
