Batman Beyond
Project Overview
Batman Beyond. This film will be taking inspiration from the cancelled Batman Beyond project from Warner Brothers. In this film we'll see Terry in his first year as Batman however has differences on how he betrays Batman than how Bruce would betray Batman. He'll be dealing with the struggle of dealing with new threats and he finds out who's his father's killer is. We'll see Terry deal with the true consequences of being Batman and see if he has what it takes to have his own take on the caped crusader than just a copy.

Terry was an average 17-year-old in the XXIst century. He was a rather rebellious young man, most likely due to his less than ideal home life. Terry is brash and hard-headed, but Bruce is slowly molding his young protégé into a top-notch Batman.
Terry cares very much for his mother and little brother, and is quite protective of both.

Mr. Fix: You’re pretty strong for some clown who thinks he’s Batman. Batman: I AM Batman!
Look, you may be used to dealing with freaks and monsters, but I'm a little new at this.

Melanie was initiated into her life of crime at an early age; because her family was "uproot[ed] every few weeks", her social life suffered, and she never had a chance to make permanent friends. She eventually grew weary of her lifestyle, becoming the only malcontent member of the gang. Ten played a vital role in the team, as she was in charge of overriding the security systems of the places they robbed. However, she was notably less ruthless than her father.

Melanie Walker : I need a place to stay 'til it's dark. That's all I'm asking for. Terry McGinnis : Let me guess. Cops after you? Melanie Walker : Among others. Including Batman. But even he would never think of looking for me here. Terry McGinnis : No. I guess he wouldn't. But there are laws against harboring criminals, and I'm... Melanie Walker : I'm not a criminal. Not anymore. Terry McGinnis : Then why's everybody after you? Melanie Walker : Because I was forced to rob a big poker game by the Jokerz. They're holding my family. Terry McGinnis : I... think we'd better call the police. Melanie Walker : Don't you get it? If I do that, the Jokerz will kill them!

Mary McGinnis is the loving mother of her two sons Terry and Matt. She used to be very soft with Terry but after his run-ins with the law and his father's death, she resolved to be more firm and strict with him. It takes all of the energy in the world for her to balance raising her two sons with her highly stressful job, and Terry's frequent absences because of his job with Bruce Wayne certainly don't help things for her. While she doesn't realize that her son Terry leads a double life as the vigilante Batman, but she is definitely starting to suspect that there may be something unusual about the nature of his job. Regardless of all his flaws, Mary McGinnis is very proud of her son, especially in light of all of the new responsibilities that he has begun to shoulder.
