Project Overview
Ballad Of Vice, is a GTA 5 machinima series, set in mid 1980s Vice City. which if you are a GTA fan you know Vice City is Miami. it is heavily based of Scarface and Miami Vice. The story follows a unstable Veteran Junkie, Jason Maple. As he and his British Friend Jerry Bond, get caught up into a gang war between the Madrazo Cartel and the Forelli Mob.
this is a passion project, that Im doing for fun, so sadly that means I can't pay anyone
I'd really appreciate people with good mics to mainly audition, so please no laptop mics. I'd also perfer MP3 Files, but I can do whatever!

Maples sounds sorta like Glenn Frey from Miami vice or Crockett. but you're always welcome to put your own spin
Maple is a veteran of the Vietnam war, he was Dishonorably discharged, after being caught doing heroine, he's severally fucked in the head, he's bipolar, has anger issues, depression, he's very traumatized by what he has done/scene and usually turns all those bad thoughts and feelings into anger, which he unleashes onto others. He's very brash usually leading to him falling head first into situations he has to shoot his way out of. Tough he is very, very lucky, even though the tattoo on his hand says "FUCK LUCK". Maple is also very sarcastic and witty. aswell as like I said VERY angry, often getting into fights with people for no reason or cuz they looked at him funny. He is also a raging dick to almost everyone he knows, Maple is also a big hypocrite, often boasting about how he is above drugs, and killing people, but yet he does heroin and kills countless people. Oh yeah? did I mention he's a lowkey heroin addict, well he is, he got hooked on it in the war and hasn't been able to leave it behind since, and if he isn't doing heroin he's drinking bottles and bottles of beer to not think. but with all that said he can be compassionate, even falling in love with a bartender, and wanting to marry her, dropping his Heroin habit. but after his criminal deeds stop that marrage his addiction to heroin becomes a addiction to Cocaine, after he has to send his girlfriend away to make sure she isn't killed by one of his enemy's.
ALSO heads up! this may be a long term role, I have a few other shows that will be coming way later down the line, that will either star or have Maple as a side character!
[Dan: Kenny let him in, this tough guy is the man of the hour.
The guard moves out of the way as Maple walks to Dans Desk]

Maple: Tina what the hell are you doin’ here, I told you I ain’t doing any of that sex for crank shit anymore. It ain’t fun anymore and it gives me headaches. And even if I wanted to I can’t I got.. fuckin‘ shit to do. Just get the fuck out, I’ll call you or, something, tomorrow.
[Bradshaw: Your truck is seized, it'll take us no time to inspect it.]
Maple: Law says otherwise don't it, law says you gotta wait 48 hours and that's IF you can convict me for wrong doing which by my calculations of this conversation...is jack SHIT...otherwise whatever that fuckin Asian tell you, is bullshit!
This being basically the second main character I'm very Particular about his voice, so if you don't get the part don't feel bad!
Jerry has been Friends with our Main Character Jason Maple for almost decades at this point. they first met when they both were in the Vietnam war. Jerry was born in Scotland but moved to england at a very young age. He has a more posh British accent, and is a bit stuck up, He's very smart, usually making the smart choice compared to Maples, Brash and stupid decisions. he is the Ying to maples Yang. He is really good friends with Maple, seeing as he and Maple have almost died on multiple occasions, and he Kept Maple alive for most of the war.
Jerry: Ay I found our guy…his name is Alberto Lopez, he’s connected with the Colombians as a smuggler, he’s got a place on starfish island, nice mansion.
Jerry: This is his place mate, all of them looked armed, I say we wear masks to disguise ourselves
Jerry: I’d just tell him cuz he’s not against kicking your face in.
Dan is one of the antagonist to Maple, He's a complete ruthless asshole. He is egotistical and thinks he's in control just cuz he's friends with the Forellis. speaking of Forellis, Dan is the middle man for Franco Forlli the youngest of 3 brothers who run the Forlli mob, Dan is put in Vice City to try and get contacts in the city so that Franco can cut himself a slice of the Cocaine trade down there.
Dan: Just deal with him, he doesn't wanna be alive for that hell.
Dan: well lets hope we avoid that, now just calm down, and sit down. I have business to talk to you about.
Dan: Well, tough guy. I’m what you’d call a “middle man” for powerful people. RICH, people and if you stay cool as a cucumber, maybe I won’t have you and your cock of a friend shot, and cut up. Maybe feed you to my cute little dogs at home.
Tina is a stripper at the local pole positions club, she and Maple hang out, have sex and do heroin together usually. she's "feisty" and pouts a lot, she thinks she's a princess, and has almost left Maple multiple times due to his attitude, but she secretly love him. She is also Latinx! she will have some....sexual dialogue at some point so if you aren't comfy with that I wouldn't audition for this role!!

Hailey is Maples main love interest through the show, she's a kind lady, very friendly and bubbly, but over the course of the series gets more and more agitated with Maples way of life. she will be a reoccurring character therefore you'd be in multiple episodes, maybe even shows! so keep that in mind please.
[Maple: uh hey, what's your name? I saw you here the other day. Was just wondering]
Jennifer: oh? I'm Jennfier.
[Maple: Oh nice, Jennifer, nice name. I'm Maple by the way.]
Jennifer: Like the leaf?
[Maple: he, yeah like the leaf.]
Jennifer: Well Maple, like the leaf. Here's your beer.
Bradshaw is a black police officer, he was born in carcer city but decided to move somewhere a bit warmer and less scummy.
Bradshaw: Would you shut the fuck up? You want him to suspect we're tailing him?
Bradshaw: Cut the bullshit, you said you're a VET, but your record says you're nothing more than scum, dishonorably discharged for using dope.
Bradshaw: Your truck is seized, it'll take us no time to inspect it.
Detective Hartwell, is a older fat detective, in his younger days he was really something but in his age he's balding, and he's gotten fatter. He's a bigot and very synical, and takes pride in being a asshole to most of his suspects, even though he's a horrible person he's a good honest cop.
Hartwell: Well, well, well. Quite an interesting guy you are, a very… colorful record. John Wesley Maple is that right?
Hartwell: Goddamn it the truck! It's a set up! (grabs radio) I want all available units heading down Prospect, plate number 42DF9!
Hartwell: HEY STAY OUT OF YOUR MOMMAS CLOSET WILL YA!
Alberto was born in Cuba and immigrated into Vice City in '83, Alberto has connections with the Madrazo Cartel. He's a very minor character almost all the lines you see here are all he has.
Alberto: WH-WHAT TRUCK!!

Kenny is a italian gentlemen, he sports a floral shirt and jeans, He is a italian man. a very minor character but he might show up in later episodes!
Dans guard (Kenny): He's still breathing sir.
Roger the Mexican guard literally has only one line of dialogue BUT I will most likely have more Mexican guards and so on so I'll defiantly be in contact with you for later episodes

Quincey is a minor character. he is killed off this episode RIP Quincey
[Maple: You seen a guy? Blonde, Talks like an asshole?]

Guard 1 who we'll call Greg is just a minor character he is on guard detail for protecting Alberto Lopez, I like to think he woulda been the next president if he well.... ya know didn't die
Guard 1: So..you gonna watch that new automogirl movie?
[Guard 2: The Car girl movie?]
Guard 1: Yeah, I heard it was good.
