Now that we've got to this point, I realised that I need to be seriously looking for a Mayoi, as well as Tsukihi and Karen Araragi!
It'd be great if potential auditionees were familiar with the series, but it's not essential. A good microphone will be necessary as well as commitment, as these characters appear in a lot of episodes in the future.
Mayoi Hachikuji is a girl Araragi meets in a mysterious episode concerning the 'Lost Snail.' She looks to be about 12 years old, but is that really the case?
She can be quite brash or harsh but eventually Araragi rubs off on her and she starts to pick up some of his more 'lewd' personality traits. She does have an older form in an alternate timeline episode of the Monogatari series, so bear in mind you may have to do an older voiced version of her.

Line 1: Loud, but not quite shouting, more a raised voice, slightly panicked scenario.
Line 2: She's yelling at the main character, but also teasing him about his name
Line 3: A famous Darth Vader quote, but if you haven't seen Star Wars IV - A New Hope, either give it a quick YouTube, or try and say the line somewhat slowly with a thoughtful emotion

I sense something... A presence I've not felt since...
Karen Araragi is the main character's younger sister. She's tomboyish and has a fiery yet optimistic personality. She will be a fun character to play, especially when Nisemonogatari rolls around. (You should really YouTube 'Karen Araragi toothbrush scene' to be prepared for what this character might require from you)

Tsukihi Araragi is the other younger sister of the main character, and she's a bit more schizophrenic then her other siblings. She's something like a part-time yandere if that helps. Definitely give her a YouTube to see her in action.
