Alloroid / Awakening (Animation Series)
Project Overview

The project(s) will depict the following- anxiety, depression, suicide and suicidal tendencies, PTSD, religious trauma, familial violence and themes of prejudice such as (internalized) homophobia/sexual prejudice.
Only one of the open acting roles, Lux, may display homophobia. Their character arc will be used to show the importance of LGBTQ+ diversity and acceptance.
The characters do not reflect either creators’ values, and we fully welcome all members of the LGBTQ+ community.

Hello! Myself and my animation partner Tenora Station are looking for two voice actors to take part in two series we are currently writing on our YouTube channels. Both series are called Alloroid and Awakening. The main cast of both stories is called The Crackhead Squad, and are shown through various and continuous works we make. Two of the five main characters are available to be auditioned for, and have very high roles on the channel. We will be very specific on the voice depending on the audition, and strict with wanting to find a accurate voice to both characters since these voices will be used extremely frequently. So therefore, this is an EXTREMELY hard audition, however we wish all participants the best of luck! And our thanks for auditioning!
What is Alloroid?
Alloroid is a slice of life series about a group of five teenagers in the suburbs of Ashtabula, Ohio. The series portrays their growth throughout one of the most difficult years of life- high school.
Follow Hatsuko, the depressed and cynical, Hana, the hyperactive ray of sunshine, Lux, the unhinged and cold, Opal, the contradictory logistical and emotional, and E, just E, the laidback emo boy. The five teens have humorously dubbed themselves as the Crackhead Squad.
Throughout the course of their school years, the cast collectively and individually tackles many obstacles and experiences…romance and heartbreak, prejudice and corruption, loneliness and acceptance, wild shenanigans, all of which may shake them to their cores.
*NOTE: Hatsuko, Opal, and E already have been casted outside of CCC.
What is Awakening?
Relating to Alloroid, this branches into the world of DKS01's characters and AU of The Legend of Zelda Four Swords Adventures called the Sacred Blades. The beginning of Alloroid is still the same throughout, but this time the Crackhead Squad takes a halt towards the middle after meeting Adriana VonHyrule (voiced by DKS01). A 10 year old runaway princess.
Striving to help them with their lives while fending for her own, Adriana helps the teenagers with their own struggles and life challenges. During this, the group protects her from the heroes that are forever chasing their ruler, trapping them at every turn and escaping physically, mentally, and emotionally. Adriana impacts them in means no one else would see from them, and the group bonds more closely and quickly than in Alloroid.
Lux has a larger role within this story, as their relationship with Adriana is a large key detail. More characters and more towards the story will be mentioned as the project continues forth.
Requirements for Auditioning:
- You need to have auditioned at least once on CCC (MAY CHANGE LATER)
- Must be 17 years old or older
- Have a Discord
- Please take the role seriously and professionally
- Must have wide experience with acting / voice acting
- Have social media other than CCC with voice acting shown
- MUST HAVE GREAT COMMUNICATION! We don't want to wait a week for responses and/or slackers.
UPDATE: Auditions are CLOSED!!! We will be announcing results on 8/23/22!
There is no confirmation on when this promo video will be done, but we estimate it will be published in August of 2022. Once you are selected, you will be contacted by me on Discord and joining Tenora Station and DKS01 Gaming's server, where you will be notified whenever we have a project that requires your voice acting! Lux is a cold, reserved and stubborn high-schooler. They are usually a person of few words, but when interacting with others they are very blunt and analytical, they say things like they are with little regard for one’s feelings, and they will not be moved easily from what they want and believe. They are known for their independence, critical thinking skills and sarcasm.
Lux was raised in a harrowing Christian environment, but they deviated from the path of the religion at a young age. As a result, Lux suffered from religious trauma and familial violence, as well as internalizing prejudice against diverse social groups. Reaching preteen years they rebelled and completely distanced themselves from their parents, refusing to see them… unless Lux wishes to cause them harm. Their main struggle is to battle their internalized prejudice- such as LGBTQ+ hate- and supporting oneself on their own without parental help.
Voice Range: Lux’s voice is very low and androgynous with hints of femininity. Generally monotone and quiet. However it becomes fully androgynous, lower pitched, and smoother when angered. They speak formally and bluntly, but they abandon this manner when angered and become both vulgar, relentless and preachy. They prefer only to speak when required, and often reply to words with gestures, sounds and actions of acknowledgement, or ignorance instead of verbal response.
"Punish me, for disrespect. For blasphemy. I don't care. Do whatever you want, I'm invincible."
(Pitch lowered to the point where they had no feminine sound in their voice, sounding loud, commanding, relentless. Lux is standing before a group of enemies after they badly hurt their sister in front of them.) "What absolute, unfortunate simple minds you have. So let me tell you something you may just understand with such intelligence. I am Adriana’s friend, protector, and sister. And until you can begin to treat her as I have, you have to kill me to get to her.”
(No mercy, bold, masculine and defensive. Lux is torturing a hooligan leader, after he had abused their sister.) “Lowlife. I’m going to make you regret having been conceived by a damn shrew. You’ll have to be insanely lucky to get out of this alleyway alive by the time I’m done with you- You look at ME, you piece of CRAP. You have fun hurting innocent children, and that is unacceptable. But then you have the audacity to go and kidnap my sister, and touch her with your dirty hands. And the price for that is your pathetic sanity. Because guess what? I’m going to break you in less than 10 minutes."
This spunky and energetic teenager is your daily ray of sunshine. Her emotions are super exaggerated when it comes to making others happy and is the most positive member of the group. When interacting with others she is very sociable, and always has great conversation starters. Once you get her talking she won't stop, which is what people love about her.
Hana originally was from Korea, and was adopted around the age of 5. She was brought to the United States with her new guardians who owned a Korean restaurant, and spent most of her life homeschooled and working at the establishment she called home. Her male guardian passed away around Hana's age of 13 due to cancer, causing her female guardian to completely leave Hana to fend for herself out of grief. Her female guardian signed her up for public school at the last moment, hence meeting the rest of the Crackhead Squad. During this time she has grown independent, responsible, and mature throughout these events. And this never halted her unique personality.
Voice Range: Very feminine, but has more of a tomboyish feel to it. Lots of exasperation, enthusiasm, and energy. She can get stern and serious and have a flat sturdy tone to her pitch, as if she's saying a speech when she needs to take charge. Her accent is North American with a hint of Korean.
(Being the hyper team leader towards the crackhead squad.) "C'mon, everyone! Let's show this school what the Crackhead Squad can DO! WOOOOO!!!"
(Hana is in contact with a group of enemies after they took Adriana. She becomes defensive and angry.) "We’re just trying to get her away from YOU!!! You’re so STUPID, ALL OF YOU! Thinking you can hurt a little girl time and time again just because she’s royalty!"
(Hana confessing to their love interest her true feelings before their relationship begins. Is upfront with a hint of embarrassment.) "Hatsuko, I... I have a crush on you. I know we've been friends for a while, but after all this time I've spent with you? My heart has been growing so much to the point where I wish to... to have a relationship with you. A close one. A uh... dating one. If that can happen, I'd love that. If you'd be willing, of... course..."
Appreciated if we had a helper for a soundtrack for both series. It can be simple as background music to battle music. Depending on what is needed and wanted we will be in contact. We are looking for someone who has experience with music composing and has made music for other projects in the past. (THIS CAN BE CASTED FOR MORE THAN 1 PERSON)
