Audiobook Narrator - Beta

Audiobook Narrator - Beta

Project Overview

Welcoming all voices to come and try out to become my audio narrators. I want to test out many voices with many different passages from different novels.

If this casting call is a success then we will possibly begin an audiobook process reading a book.

Reminder that this is all a beta test, Just to test out its possibility of becoming a reality so it may not become a real project, however you are welcome to audition for a chance or just for practice and feedback for voice acting.

Thank you for your cooperation and consideration!

Good luck to you all!

If you have any questions at all please message me at Discord: N0_Nam3#5982

  • “Which one is the boy with the reddish brown hair?” I asked. I peeked at him from the corner of my eye, and he was still staring at me, but not gawking like the other students had today—he had a slightly frustrated expression. I looked down again. “That’s Edward. He’s gorgeous, of course, but don’t waste your time. He doesn’t date. Apparently none of the girls here are good-looking enough for him.” She sniffed, a clear case of sour grapes. I wondered when he’d turned her down. I bit my lip to hide my smile. Then I glanced at him again. His face was turned away, but I thought his cheek appeared lifted, as if he were smiling, too. After a few more minutes, the four of them left the table together. They all were noticeably graceful—even the big, brawny one. It was unsettling to watch. The one named Edward didn’t look at me again.

  • Dear Cedric. A strange thing happened to me today. I saw a big thundercloud move down over Half Dome, and it was so big and clear and brilliant that it made me see many things that were drifting around inside of me; things that relate to those who are loved and those who are real friends. For the first time I know what love is; what friends are; and what art should be. Love is a seeking for a way of life; the way that cannot be followed alone; the resonance of all spiritual and physical things…Friendship is another form of love — more passive perhaps, but full of the transmitting and acceptances of things like thunderclouds and grass and the clean granite of reality. Art is both love and friendship and understanding: the desire to give. It is not charity, which is the giving of things. It is more than kindness, which is the giving of self. It is both the taking and giving of beauty, the turning out to the light of the inner folds of the awareness of the spirit. It is a recreation on another plane of the realities of the world; the tragic and wonderful realities of earth and men, and of all the interrelations of these. Ansel.

  • We had driven several miles, and were beginning to get to the fringe of the belt of suburban villas, when he shook himself, shrugged his shoulders, and lit up his pipe with the air of a man who has satisfied himself that he is acting for the best. “You have a grand gift of silence, Watson,” said he. “It makes you quite invaluable as a companion. ’Pon my word, it is a great thing for me to have someone to talk to, for my own thoughts are not over-pleasant. I was wondering what I should say to this dear little woman to-night when she meets me at the door.” “You forget that I know nothing about it.” “I shall just have time to tell you the facts of the case before we get to Lee. It seems absurdly simple, and yet, somehow I can get nothing to go upon. There’s plenty of thread, no doubt, but I can’t get the end of it into my hand. Now, I’ll state the case clearly and concisely to you, Watson, and maybe you can see a spark where all is dark to me.”

  • The velociraptor jerked its head, sniffed, and looked right at Tim, who nearly gasped with fright. As he watched, Tim’s body went rigid, tense. The reptile sniffed again, moved his eyes, and scanned the room. Tim was sure he was caught. The raptor continued on to the fifth steak, jerking his head back to look forward. Tim thought of Lex, pleading with her in his mind not to move. Whatever happens, don’t move. The freezer door was open and smoke billowed out around the animal’s feet curling in suspense. As his clawed foot came up and then down silently, the dinosaur hesitated from the cold.
