Attention Artists: Do You Draw ?
Project Overview
About Bedtime Story Broadcast:
It is a public access program broadcasted on Radio Fairfax, in Northern VA, and it's also available online. It was conceived of to provide children, particularly ones who are blind, dyslexic, or whose parents are likewise disabled or illiterate, w/a bedtime story. A narrator reads them, like an audiobook.
Bedtime Story Broadcast wants to invite artists to illustrate something from the the story presently in production, that children can print out online and color. Right now, we are reading "The Borrowers" by Mary Norton. It is a full-length book, so we will be working on it for at least a few weeks. You can find it here: http://www.young-adult-books.com/read/The-Borrowers-The-Borrowers-1-1032/789448 for free. Please e-mail your original, black outlined drawings on plain white 8 1/2" by 11" (printer size) pages to [redacted]. And if interested, ask about other artistic opportunities that are available.
