Attack on Rapture : Part 4 (PLUS RECASTS)
Project Overview
Heaven and Hell. Columbia and Rapture. Two utopias. One floating high among the clouds, the other swaying in the depths of the sea. Two utopias. One constructed of faith and morals, the other of freedom and sin.
Two different men, with two totally different backstories. With both of them having two different views of the worlds they have been exposed too. One from Rapture, One from Columbia.
Follow the story of Jean Kirschtein, and Eren Jaeger, and how the two of them crosspaths all because of one girl: Mikasa Ackerman. As they endure the hardships of both Utopias. The fates of them, and the others they surround themselves with uncertain.

Guidelines/Information for Auditions:
1) Clear Audio and Decent Mic Quality: I'm not asking for something professional quality, but atleast try and avoid static, pops, bumps, fuzz, and any other background noise. Considerable background noise may lead to rejection.
2) A way of contact other than Casting Call Club: For example, an Email or Skype account would be acceptable Skype is preferred.
3) It may take time, but if requested, me and my Co-director may leave feedback on your auditions.

Frank Fontaine

Fontaine is known for being a wanted man within Rapture for his smuggling ring within the city- bringing high demand, contraband items into Rapture. Which of course lead to him being known for being the arch-enemy of Mr Andrew Ryan himself, and is the leader of the opposition in the power struggle which led to Rapture’s collapse, and his death.
Fontaine’s voice is extremely coarse, and has a thick Bronx accent.
Alright, Alright. You lookin’ to slug it out? I’m game. But I got all ‘the ADAM in the city, pal, and I ain’t shy about usin’ it. And now, I’m ‘jake to take her out for a spin
Ral’s only problem, is that she really buys into the whole song ‘an dance. Savin’ the world- hah! Rapture just ain’t her town… Ryan’s got her ‘an Zoë on ice somewhere now...and it’s gonna get the pair of ‘em in deep shit...
[yelling] I had you built! I sent you topside! I called you back, showed you what you was, what you was capable of! Then him, even that life he thought he had, that was something I dreamt and tattooed inside of his head!

Zachary Hale Comstock

Also going by the names of “Father Comstock”, and “The Prophet”, Comstock is the leader of the founders of the floating “haven” Columbia. He claims to have the ability to predict the future of Columbia, attacks from his enemies, and the actions of “The False Shepherd”. He is convinced, that said devil was to come and take the only thing that is going to save the world from sin; His Lamb.
Comstock has a very authoritative tone of voice, yet is extremely clear. His voice catches the attention of those willing to listen. His warm, deep voice has somewhat of a smooth tone, even when demanding and yelling.
And then, the archangel showed a vision...A city- lighter than air… I asked her, “Why do you show this to me Archangel?....I’m not a strong man- I’m not a righteous man….I am not a holy man…” And she told me the most remarkable thing,”You’re right prophet. But if grace is within the grasp in one such as you, how can anyone else not see it in themselves?”.
[Yelling, getting angrier and angrier as it goes on] THIS IS GOD’S PUNISHMENT. THIS IS THE RESULT OF OUR IGNORANCE. WE HAVE LET THE GIRL, OUR ONLY SALVATION, TO SLIP THROUGH OUR FINGERS. TO BE STOLEN BY THE FALSE SHEPHERD. COLUMBIA SHALL FALL, MY FRIENDS! IT SHALL FALL BECAUSE OF OUR ARROGANCE, BECAUSE OF OUR CARELESSNESS; BECAUSE WE BELIEVED THAT WE WOULD BE PERMITTED STAY IN ITS HOLY GROUNDS WITHOUT TAKING CARE OF OUR GREAT CITY.

Dr Grisha Jaeger

Grisha Jaeger is a doctor and scientist, one of the many who moved to Rapture. However, Grisha did not ask to come into Rapture, he had been given a personal invitation by Mr Andrew Ryan himself, due to his acquaintanceship with him. At which, he stayed by Ryan's side though everything, even though he had his doubts. He cares about his family very much, but often doesnt spend as much time as he would like, and regrets it after his wife and adopted daughter are taken from him.
Grisha has a stern, low voice. He has a fatherly tone towards his family, showing how much he cares for them and loes them. He may be stern and strict, but he is a very emotional person at times. However, Grisha often switches between German and English in speech, due to him being German.
A German acent is a must, but we can work on your German speaking if cast.
"I'll be meeting with Ryan soon. I have to attend to the matters later in the day, so I have to be prepared. I'll be home to celebrate with you later on today, okay?... Don't worry, mein Junge. [side note: this is pronounced "Mine Yoon-ge"] I don't think it's anything too big. However, it is important, and I must see him. I'll be gone for a while, so why don't you play with your present for a little while?"
[quiet and soft] If you could see him now Carla... our boy's a grown man...
[As the 'No's go along, it goes from quiet to louder until he's yelling. His voice cracks and strains as the line continues] No.... No. No. No!. No!! NO!!
[His voice cracks as he starts to break down into sobs] Eren.... mein Junge.... Forgive me, I was too late... My boy, oh dear God not my boy.... Please don't take away my boy too! EREN!!!

[MAJOR RECAST] Atlas Arlert

Atlas Arlert is the older brother to Armin Arlert. He moved from Dublin, Ireland down to Rapture with his grandfather and brother after the death of their parents. He works hard there, owning a pub with his grandfather and brother, supporting them. He is always full of bright ideas, or as he calls them bright ideas. When Ryan nationalized Fontaine Futuristics, Atlas protested against him in front of citizens. With Frank Fontaine declared dead by the Rapture Council, Atlas began to recruit disillusioned citizens and build up supporters against Ryan- being a leader of a Rebellion.
Atlas has a somewhat cheerful voice to those he’s close to. He is quite a mischievous person, which comes across in his tone of voice from time to time. Yet, when serious, he comes across as dark and often vulgar. He MUST have an Irish Accent.
[somewhat urgent] Hello?! Can you hear me!?.....[He sighs in relief, then lets out a chuckle] Well you’re in luck...Honestly...I don’t know how the hell you survived getting down here without drowning, but I’ve never been one to question prominence… I’m Atlas, and I aim to keep you alive-
[yelling] EREN, ARMIN GET OUT OF HERE!!! NOW!!!
Yeah... It's gonna get pretty busy. People like to drink at our pub for the New Years. I mean, we're the best bar in Rapture! Of course people will try to come over for a pint or two for the New Year! And today is exceptionally busy-
I am not a liberator. Liberators do not exist. These people will liberate themselves.

[RECAST] Carla Jaeger

Carla Jaeger is the wife of Grisha Jaeger, and mother of Eren Jaeger (biologically) and Mikasa Ackerman (adopted). She lived happily with her husband and her children, until her and Mikasa were removed from Rapture into Columbia, into the safety of Angel Tower. Mikasa was protected there, and kept company by Carla, Songbird, and the Smiths, until Carla became gravely ill. Carla Jaeger tried her best to stay strong and fight to stay with Mikasa, until she unfortunately died of Tuberculosis.
Carla has a soft, motherly tone to her voice, yet can be rather stern and strict when she needs to be. She has a strong, and sweet voice, but it gets weaker and weaker as Carla gets sicker.
[coughing in between lines, bittersweet] With every day that passes, Mikasa’s “tearing” ability grows stronger. She’s now able to pinpoint where the tear will lead to, despite not quite grasping the concept of alternate universes, and is able to control them 70 percent of the time. Her progress is extraordinary. As for the other 30 percent, well...we’ve had some pretty close calls. Grisha would be so proud
[scolding] Eren!...[soft chuckle/giggle] It’s rather rude to call your father old-
[gently and calmly] I’m sure she would think it’s lovely, dear- But she’s sleeping right now, so I’d rather you not wake her.
I believed less in God...and more in Lutece...That Mikasa would be safe….that Eren would be safe…. [grunts a little in pain] now look…. Eren is with his father…..and Mikasa….she’s going to be alone- Because of a stupid mistake I did- [coughs] I’m sorry Mikasa…. I’m sorry Eren….. You both deserve a better mother-

Keith Shadis

Keith Shadis is the owner and manager of the most well known restaurant in Rapture, The Kashmir Restaurant. He is known for being an extremely strict, and rather condescending to his employees: often being somewhat verbally abusive and degrading. Eren being the most likely victim out of the rest of the employees. It’s rare to ever see the strict male have a lighter side.
Keith’s strict personality comes off clearly in his voice, and often resembles one of an army sergeant: loud, proud and one of authority. His voice also has a raspy/rough undertone to it.
JAEGER! Your shift is up, take up the other one. It’s Thomas’ turn to wipe the glasses.
Look Jaeger, I gave you permission to take a break for an hour so you can... do whatever with those idiots outside the restaurant -- but I expect you to work your ass off as thanks. Got it?
Bodt- what on earth do you think you’re doing?! I don’t pay you to stand and smile at customers!!! Get back to work!
My restaurant- which i slaved long and hard to achieve, was destroyed- All because of this stupid riot.That rebellion will cost me thousands of dollars in damage... Ryan owes me, BIG time for letting this happen-
