Athanasia - A Minecraft Film (Sci-Fi/Post Apocalyptic)
Project Overview
NOTE: This is the casting call for two short films which are side stories to the main project, 'Into the Unknown'. Some of the roles available will be long term roles and join the main series. Other roles will only be needed for one project.
'The Legend Of Dios' is a short 10-minute film that explains the story of the first Dios and its great power. It features two lead characters that will only be needed for this film and will not return in the future. The film will be based in the medieval era.
'Athanasia' is a 20-25 minute film which tells the story of the rise and fall of Rebecca Alexandre. The film will focus on a new side of the ITU (Into The Unknown) universe, and how this new group 'GENETEC' survived The Deathwave. 'Athanasia' is a darker film compared to other ITU projects and will act as the introduction to our new villain group for Season 3 and 4.
REQUIREMENTS:
- A decent mic which has little to no background noise.
- 14+ (Can make some exceptions)
- Must have Discord!
- Committed to play your role. (Especially if the role is listed as 'long-term')
- Able to send lines by the given due date.
WHAT IS THE ITU UNIVERSE?
The ITU universe is an ongoing project (Since 2018) created by Kitkatgalaxy. It is a science-fiction, post-apocalyptic fantasy series, exploring the lives of various characters both good and evil. The universe consists of multiple projects that have already been completed:
Into The Unknown: Season 1 [2018 - 2019]
The Deathwave [2019]
Into The Unknown: Season 2 [2020 - Present]

All the projects are connected and ultimately tell the same story. The universe is expected to end at Season 4 (Sometime in 2021/2022)

PERSONALITY:
Dandre Levine is kind but mislead. He is loyal to his people until he realises that there is more to life than he's been told. He likes to have fun and lighten the mood when it feels appropriate. Unlike other characters in the ITU universe, Dandre has a lot of hope for things to get better. He always sees the light in the dark.
BACKSTORY:
Dandre was born and raised in a bunker by his people 'GENETEC'. Over his childhood, he became a genius among his people and excelled in physics, mathematics and computer engineering. Much like the rest of his people, he has been taught to not feel emotion or create connections with others. He believes that his life purpose is to work for GENETEC. Forever. But, that is all about to change.
VOICE:
Mid to low ranged voice.
NOTE: Is a long-term role. Swears. May encounter romance.

(Dandre laughs) No, I didn't mean it like that. I meant that death is a natural part of life. When you're not dead, that's when you get to truly be alive and enjoy life. But being immortal... It... *sighs* It ruins the fun of being human.
Trust me. Isolation madness can be a real bitch. You've been sentenced to five years in the asylum.

BACKSTORY:
After killing the king of a once-thriving kingdom, Dios began to rule over everything. His reign of death continued for a century, until he unexpectedly begins to fall in love.
PERSONALITY:
Dios has a thirst for blood and death. He is heartless and willing to kill anyone who many stand in his way.
VOICE:
A low ranged voice.
NOTE: One-off character.
How weak. I thought you'd put up a fight. I suppose I was wrong.
Doesn't it feel great to rule over the kingdom? Soon, we'll both rule over everything... Forever.
(Demanding/Yell) YOU! STEP FORWARD!

BACKSTORY:
Lucia starts as a prisoner. When she is asked to become King Dios's second, she accepts and begins her training. She becomes the strongest guard in the kingdom and proves to be loyal to the king. But, it turns out she is not as she seems.
PERSONALITY:
Lucia is strong both physically and mentally. She finds it easy to hide her emotions and create a facade, which makes her a perfect assassin.
VOICE:
Stern voice. Mid ranged voice.
NOTE: One-off character.
...Do you plan to hurt me?
[Lucia just stabbed the king] You tried so hard to live. Little did you know, I'm the only thing that can kill you.
[Lucia is tied to a stake and yells/screams before burning to her death. These are her last words] YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND! DIOS IS NO GOD!

BACKSTORY:
Scarlett Everly has been working alongside Rebecca Alexandre (CEO of GENETEC) as her assistant for years. She tried her best to ensure Rebecca made the right choices in the bunker. Sometimes she succeeded... Other times she didn't.
PERSONALITY:
Scarlett is smart and quite mature for her age. She is not afraid to speak up and is quite confident. She does, however, find it more difficult overtime to deal with certain situations that arise.
VOICE:
A calming voice. High to mid-ranged.
NOTE: Long-term role.
[Yells to Rebecca as the bunker doors are closing] Rebecca! We don't have time for this. Dios will be here in 30 seconds!
You saved thousands of lives. That's something to be proud of.
What do you mean this isn't manipulating people? It's exactly that!

Emilia is the mother of a future lead character Amari.
She is kind and has a reserved and shy voice. High to mid-ranged voice.

Michael is the father of future lead character Amari.
Michael tries to be positive no matter the situation and has a habit of laughing to himself. He has an older low-ranged voice.
NOTE: Possible returning character for flashbacks.

Nathaniel Levine is the father of future lead character Dandre Levine.
Nathaniel appears to have quite a temper and stands up for what he believes in. No matter the consequences.

(Yells/Angry) She's brainwashing you all! YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE ME!

Sierra Alexandre is the mother of Rebecca Alexandre.
Sierra has a very soothing voice. She is kind and gentle with her daughter and the people around her. She has a high to mid-ranged voice.
NOTE: Possible returning character for flashbacks.
[Sierra sits on her daughter's bed telling a story] The people from the kingdom of Vidor found the King's diary, which contained a part of his powers. The people- [Sierra is cut off by her daughter]
