Welcome to the Fan-adaptation of Asobi Asobase in English!
I am starting my first ever project so please keep in mind I am a newbie at this and mainly do VA work. However, this has been an idea for a looong long time and I always wished to hear the Pastimers Club in English! Today is the day!
I will be the voice of Hanako, and I am looking for the remaining trio and Maeda to join me on this insane and unhinged journey! Please Enjoy!

Character Synopsis: Olivia is one of the three main protagonists of the "Pastimers Club" A young middle schooler attending an all girls school who so happens to be a American that can't speak English. She spends all her time with her two other friends Hanako and Kasumi who are also the remaining members of the "Pastimers Club", Olivia does her best to hide the fact she can't speak English and only Japanese from not only her friend Kasumi, but the entire school as well!
Personality: Olivia is a mischievous young lady along with being easy-going and a bit ditzy at times, but at her core is very light hearted.
Voice notes: Olivia has a energetic, almost ditzy voice. high pitched and slightly loud. For the scenes where she speaks certain broken English words and or phrases, The best thing to do is to talk in a stereotypical American accent whether it be Valley girl or straight up country bumpkin-southern!

(Playing rock-paper-scissors with Hanako in the distance, yelling. This is towards the end.) Rock-Paper-Scissors! It's a draw! Look the other way! (after slapping Hanako and she yells in pain. Olivia plays dumb in response.) Hmm? (still pretending to play dumb and taunt Hanako more.) Hey- Wait up! Don't just abandon a transfer student from America. You were asked by your homeroom teacher to do it, weren't you?
(scared and nervous by a threatening Kasumi.) Wha-What should I teach you..? (Kasumi tells her to teach her American phrases, Olivia tries to fake it with nervousness and slight defeat.) uh... Gi-Give me Chocolate... (Kasumi questions her validity so she has to explain why still uneasy.) uh- Americans eat Chocolate, too. (Kasumi pushes further, now fully defeated and lying with a neutral tone.) We beg every day... (apologies in her thoughts.) I'm sorry, Americans!
(Olivia-bot, sound robotic but also trying to sound girly at the same time.) Shut the fuck up! (now be very aggressive and angry in this scene.)Fuckin' bitch! go to hell! I'll fuck you!
Character Synopsis: Kasumi Nomura is one of the three main protagonists of the "Pastimers Club" A young middle schooler attending an all girls school who is calm, poise, very studious and even intense at times, due to her wanting to learn English and Fear of men. She spends all her time with her two other friends Hanako and Oliva who are also the remaining members of the "Pastimers Club", Kasumi is a quite over achiever who wishes to learn English, however, she is very unaware of the fact her new friend Olivia is a strictly Japanese speaking Gaijin. She also seems to develop a crush on a fellow student named Aozora, who may be hiding something.
Personality: Kasumi is soft-spoken, calm, anti-social, intense at times, but also pretty non-confrontational for the majority and friendly. She appears to be the level-headed or smart one as well.
Voice notes: Kasumi is generally timid and shy went she speaks, she may even get threatening at times when wanting to learn English from Olivia.

(Interrogating Olivia about American phrases. Cold calculated, serious yet calm and intimidating.) Let's see... How about you teach me some casual American phrases? (unconvinced and still intimidating, even more interrogating.) That's the English, Japanese citizens used towards American soldiers. (still unconvinced.) I'm sure, but you don't beg for it on a daily basis, do you?
(In thoughts, frantically panicking.) No! Not that! My super-epic BL novel is in there!!! Please, don't! Stop!!
(Timid like usual.) hey... uh... (monotone and cold.) Did you read it? (scene near end, Olivia enters the room. Kasumi is now defeated, deflated and want's to die. voice quiet at first soon becomes broken, sad and embarrassed at the same time, almost silent screaming.) Olivia.... Kill me, please!!!
Character Synopsis: Maeda is the eccentric yet serious butler of Hanako, he was taken in by Hanako's grandfather when an encounter with aliens made him uncontrollably shoot lasers from his buttocks. He is rather charming if not a bit weird to the group especially the timid Kasumi. He will occasionally appear out of nowhere and help Hanako with things by using her grandfathers inventions or help in games.
Personality: Maeda is eccentric, serious, well-mannered, calm and grateful. He cares a lot about Hanako and her family since he helped raise her as her butler.
Voice notes: Maeda has a mid-range to low, older male voice. He talks rather bluntly and seriously though will sometimes express extreme emotion and will often act eccentric.

(Playing a made up fantasy/fighting like game. He tries and kinda fails at helping Hanako win as he remains hilariously serious through it all.) T-this is the most powerful monster. it can triple the cannon's output. It can destroy about half of Olivia's shield. Probably.
(Asked about light fantasy, so thinks of his own fantasy. this is not what the girls were referring to.) Fantasy... (serious and euphoric, dreamy tone.) Something like a Goblin x a Dwarf?
(Appears behind Hanako , freaking everyone out. he is serious the whole time, making things unsettling.) Hanako. (happy neutral.) I enjoy travelling around.(sounds intimidating to Olivia.) Which country are you from? (erratic and angry that Hanako's friends fear him. shouting.) Hanako! I feel like your friends are afraid of me because of you!!
What this entails: These are for extra voices rarely used along with voices for recurring characters that pop up now and then! such as, Teachers, Students, Fujiwara, Olivia's Older Brother and much more!
Voice notes: Include a demo reel or if you'd like (Highly recommended!!) read some lines from the Asobi Asobase episodes or clips on Youtube.
