Ashes of Radiance is a visceral short film series set in an alternate-universe version of Destiny, long after the Collapse and the Traveler’s silence.
The story follows Solrix, the last warrior of the fallen House of Radiance—a once-noble Eliksni clan that dared to believe Light could unite humans and aliens alike. Burned by both Iron Lords and Warlords, Solrix now wanders the ruins as a myth, neither hero nor villain. His only companion is Ember, a broken Ghost who chose him not out of faith, but defiance.
Together, they walk a war-torn Earth where Light has become just another weapon, and mercy is rarer than fire.

Once a proud warrior of the House of Radiance, Solrix carries the weight of a lost culture and a Light he never asked for. His armor is patchwork but dignifiedSolar flares dance across his weapons like ghosts of the past.
His voice: Deep, slightly gravelly with a layered Eliksni accent (filtered, but softened in emotional moments). Wears both pain and resolve.

“I did not take the Light. It found me… when your wars left only ash.”
“Because I remember when the Light meant more than war.”
“I burned for them... and they feared the fire.”
Scorched and patched with salvaged bone and wire, Ember speaks with the tone of someone who’s seen too much and trusts too little.
Her voice: Calm, feminine or androgynous. War-weary, soft-spoken but sharp when needed—like flickering embers in a dying fire.
Use destiny voices as references if needed.
“When the world ended, they begged for fire... But when it came back, they cursed the flame.”
“I finally found you. . . Open your eyes, and rise again!”
“Then let them feel the heat of mercy. Or wrath. You choose.”
Charismatic, calculating, and rigid in his ideals. Cyrias believes in order and control of the Light—and that the Eliksni represent a threat to both.
Voice: Crisp, aristocratic, controlled. Like a preacher-turned-general.
“You will surrender, Eliksni. The Light was not meant for your kind.”
“That power... it’s too wild. He’s no Guardian!”
“But he is not my ally, either.”
A hammer of a man—blunt, loyal, skeptical. He doesn’t trust Solrix, but respects warriors who bleed for what they believe in.
Voice: Deep and gritty. Speaks plainly, often with a snort or grunt. Imagine a grizzled knight who traded his sword for a shotgun.
“No… it’s worse. It’s in his hands
“Maybe. But he's not our enemy.”
“Trust isn’t given. It’s earned. Start earning.”
Once a Guardian, now a pyromaniac demigod. He uses the Light like a wildfire—destructive and unbound. Sees Solrix as a rival flame to extinguish.
Voice: Unhinged, booming, gleeful with a hint of madness. His laughter should chill bones. (Imagine William Afton but more unhinged)
“Do you hear it? The song of fire... It dances, it screams, it eats and laughs."
"Then crawl. Or... fight. Those are your choices."
(Improv final words after getting sliced in half.)
A human child who survived a raid between clashing factions. Doesn’t understand the war—only the fear. His innocence acts as a mirror to the chaos.
Voice: Young (9-12), shaken but curious. Quieter delivery, like someone learning to trust again.
“You’re... you’re one of them.”
“You saved us... from that fire-mage. Why?”
“I'm sorry... I was scared.”
