"Ash Wednesday" Horror Movie

Project Overview

Hello everyone, and thank you for taking interest in our project, "Ash Wednesday".

Our project "Ash Wednesday" focuses around the idea of two siblings who move to Delaware when the brother, Ty, receives a job offer for computer engineering. While in search of her own job, Megan meets their retired neighbor, Steve. Although he tends to keep to himself, the siblings soon discover why.

Throughout the story, there triplets will run into Phil Swift, the creator of FlexTape (we are not looking for voice actors to play his role). It is believed that he is the cause for the damage of the nearby dam, where his products were used to repair a large problem. After a long and dramatic argument, it is agreed that he will help the three, in return that they believe that he isn't the cause for this.

Throughout the rest of the story, the triplets and Phil Swift end up bumping into a long lost brother, Caj Swift. The secret is out in the open, when Caj reveals that the idea of FlexTape was originally his, and Phil took the credit. A dramatic fight and situation breaks out, until Caj is accidentally forced underwater, drowning him.

The intention of the project is to create a horror movie trailer and a movie review  to answer our unit's question, "How can science and engineering help protect people from natural hazards". We are looking for voice actors who are willing to voice out less than five lines within 24 hours of being assigned. We are not paying our actors, and are looking for voluntarily actors.

He is the older man who lives next door to the siblings. Although he is retired, he still studies meteorology within his home. Even though he does not show emotion, he cares for the siblings and looks over them as if they were his own children.

  • "This is the worst storm since Ash Wednesday.." (His voice sounds concerned)

  • "Both of you, get out! Now!" (The older man yells out towards the younger two, before water breaks through the walls)
