Ascension Visual Novel Fandub (LEAD NEEDED!!!!)
Project Overview
Ascension is a free Visual Novel made by Rinmaru Games. The story takes place in a world called Arunia that is populated with 7 different races. The Main protagonist, Aida, and her best friend of six years, Sky, are investigating what Sky's mother's journals hold when they encounter some new friends and a 23 year old secret.
In this project we will be fan dubbing all three games so for now i will only be doing auditions for the characters that appear in the first games but will add the rest of the characters as we move through the other games. It will be a decent cast so i will need people able to turn in lines on time are able to meet up in discords and are good to work with. Main forms of communication will be email and discord so we can practice lines with each other and get more of a feel for the characters. In the first game there are many side characters so i will have those casted voice those extra lines for the side characters. For those auditioning it is preferred if your mic has little background noise as possible.

Aida is a brash, rather gruff young woman who isn't afraid to speak her mind. She isn't above stealing and lying; in fact, Chapter 1 of the game begins with her stealing gold coins from drunken men at a tavern.Aida is the main protagonist of the first 3 chapters of the Visual Novel Series Ascension. She is known to be a noble and is infamous for her foul language, even as far as being told that she swears like a 'Dwarven sailor'.
Any accent is fine for this character so long as you get her attitude and personality right in the voice.
Leaving was one of the hardest things I did....but you need to understand I only diid it to protect you all!
Greaat.... now I have to start a fight, kill a few people, steal some stuff, scare orphans and throw puppies at really old people.

Since Zander is a mage, he has ten times the emotion of a normal Moon Elf which led him to be an emotional person. He knows a lot of information, and he's very caring, yet he can be sarcastic, too. Zander often struggles to express himself and is occasionally prone to bursts of intense emotion or comes across as sullen or cold, but after meeting Aida, he begins to manage his feelings more effectively and seems happier for it.
He is at times a very serious character but like it says he is capable of a snarky remark or sarcastic joke. You need to be able to both express extreme emotion at one point and then back to calm and cool the next. Again any accent could work for him.
If you ever stab Aida in the back again, I will not kill you. I will burn you alive, painfully, so slowly that you will end up begging me to end your miserable life. And every time you feel like it's the end, I will heal you. I promise... The pain will never end.
I am like any other moon elf. Well...plus exaggerated emotions...and magic.
I hope Seena doesn't start looking up to you. You aren't exactly the best role model.

Close friends with Aida ever since she and her father, Tahn, found and saved her life her six years prior to the start of the story, Sky serves as the anchor for Aida's humanity and remains her best friend throughout the entire tale. Originally wanting to become a master thief like her mother, she eventually drops that dream to become an alchemist like her father before her, but still retains the memory of her father dear to her.
For her i would suggest a girl with a bit of a higher sounding voice or someone able to pull off a voice similar to cherami leigh
Zander has been checking out your new outfit out... how to say... very intensely. (Aida:Maybe he has very good taste in clothes. )Sky:Then i have to say, he is particularly interested in the back of your pants.

She is very jovial, a very common trait in Dwarves. Behind her often happy face, she worries quite a lot about her friends.Tillie and Zander were recruited for magical "research" by the Eagles, but they left when they realized the research was about necromancy.[1] Tillie took all their resources and information when she fled. At one point, Tillie knew the captain of the Knight Order, and thought he was a "good man."
For her character i would suggest a voice similar to monica rial or luci chrisian. One able to show very excitable emotion.

She is reckless... You are too... I don't want to lose her too... But both of you? You are my brother... My best friend. I can't lose you. Don't do it

Jace's personality seems to be laid back. He is quite the ladies' man and tends to have a flirty side to him. Jace also tends to like his ale. As the game progresses Jace becomes caring and loyal with Aida while retaining his humorous temper.
For his voice i would suggest one similar to that of sanji from one piece or soul from soul eater. But like i said for the others it is all up to the persons interpretation.
Some how I feel I don't have a choice... Oh well! As long as I have my Ale!

Diego tends to be flirtatious towards most of the women in the game, namely Aida and Sky. Diego can be completely heartless at times, especially in the earlier portions of the game.Diego served as a plant in The Knight Order under the pseudonym "Cain." He was Jace's partner, or "brother," in the Order.
For this character i would say a voice similar to roy mustangs from full metal alchemist or a voice similar to matthew mercer but again up to interpretation.
Forgive me, our way of inviting people isn't exactly subtle...
Diego: Beautiful and strong. Join me.(Aida: "You want me to join the Eagles?") Diego: No, I meant in my quarters but sure the Eagles too.

He is the main antoagnist of series and Aida's twin brother. He looks a bit younger so i would say a voice similar to that of a male in late teen early 20's. A voice similar to todd haberkorn maybe. But for the most part it is up to interpretation. Just know his character is very cruel until the end.
