(Love Live Project) As If It's Your Last- AQOURS COVER
Project Overview
Please read all the information below before auditioning~
What is this project, and how long will it take?
This is a cover for BLACKPINK's Japanese version of "As If It's Your Last", but as Aqours! There have been tons of these videos circling around YouTube, and I thought it would be interesting to cover this as a group. If we work efficiently, we can get this done in a month or two! However, if both the cast as well as the audience enjoy the cover, we may make an official group and cover more songs.
Do I have to be a fan of Love Live or BLACKPINK to audition?
No! Though it would be preferred if you knew a thing or two about the members of Aqours specifically, as you will be imitating their voices for the project, We recommend that you listen to a few songs by Aqours if you haven't! As for being a fan of BLACKPINK, it doesn't have much significance but it does help if you know which parts of the song you want to sing, so you can audition for the correct member. It's also likely that other people working on the project will like them, so you might want to get to know them as a conversation starter.
Will we cover other groups as well? (i.e. TWICE, MOMOLAND, etc.) Will we get to sing in Korean?
If this project is a success, then yes! We will plan to cover other groups. As for singing in Korean, that will depend on the ability of the casted singers. If they can sing in Korean, we can work on it for the future.
Rules for Auditioning
- Please have a decent sound quality. This doesn't mean that you have to have a fancy microphone. We want to be able to hear your voice nice and clear, with no background noises is all.
- You may audition for more than one girl! We however suggest keeping yourself limited to around 3 or 4 but you can still audition for all 9.
- Please be aware that some of the lyrics listed may be incorrect, but we will be working on the correct lyrics for the project.
- Be active within the project. If you are assigned to do something, then please do it. It's not a long project, and you will be given a reasonable amount of time to get your work done.
- Have a Discord. It will be our main source of communication. If you don't have one, please sign up. There are a lot of projects on this website that communicate on Discord, so it'll be really useful.
- If you don't get casted, be respectful to the people that do. We're a friendly community, so we should all get along!

Chika Takami is the leader of Aqours. She is a energetic and determined character who lets nothing stop her from reaching her goals, and is a friendly person, although her extroverted personality may make her hard to approach at times. Her energy and passion is evident in her voice, and she also has a hint of maturity as well. She also has a unique nasal-like sound.

Riko Sakurauchi was the third member to join Aqours. She is a mature character, who watches over the other members of the group, but can also be a member that needs to be watched over. Sometimes shy and bashful, she is a calming and talented character. Her voice is smooth and mature, but has a more energetic vibe rather than elegant. She also has a very distinct lift after every line, which has also been described as a "squeak".

You Watanabe was one of the initial members of Aqours. She is a friendly and outgoing character, but also knows when to give people space. The friendships and bonds she builds with others is something she truly cherishes, and sometimes finds herself overthinking these sorts of things because of that. Her voice is quite similar to Chika's, in that it's full of energy and passion, and also includes that bit of nasal-like sound. The difference between the two is that You's singing can include small squeaks as she sings a line, but as a general sound it's a bit smoother than Chika.

She loves and supports her friends dearly and wants them to achieve greater heights, though she doesn't give herself the same kind of support. Her voice is smooth and calming, but she fills it with her own energy. She also has an occasional squeak as she sings a line.

Yoshiko Tsushima was the fifth member to join Aqours. She is an eccentric character, and what people consider a "chuunibyou", calling herself a fallen angel. However, she is sensitive about this quality and tries to act like a normal person, but soon realizes that she must embrace every part of her personality. Her voice tends to vary from smooth and mature, to more energetic and squeaky in a voice similar to You's. She tends to use the cheery voice more often and uses the smoother voice when hitting lower notes. Feel free to use either or both voices when you audition!

She loves idols, and her sister Dia, who although she's had tough situations with her, the two have a sibling relationship that is strong and inspirational. Her voice is soft and squeaky, and can be described as a bit childish or babyish. Please don't strain your voice too much when singing as Ruby!

Her voice is smooth and elegant, and unlike most members, doesn't have a nasal-like sound. It is more on the powerful side, and is full of emotion.
