ABOUT THE PROJECT

Rlyeh My Dude is an original animated series blending Lovecraftian horror, absurd comedy, and retro vibes. Think Gravity Falls x Regular Show x Venture Bros, but infused with Cthulhu energy and LA weirdness.

We are currently building our pilot episode team and assembling talent for our upcoming Kickstarter, where all production staff will be paid from raised funds. Our goal is to create a high-quality, stylized pilot to pitch to studios and streaming platforms.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are accepting auditions, rates, and portfolios for the following positions:

ANIMATION TEAM

2D Animators (traditional, Toon Boom, or equivalent)

Rough animators / clean-up animators

FX Animators (energy, smoke, magic, tentacles, etc.)

Motion graphics artists

Compositors

ART TEAM

Character designers

Background / environment artists (LA streets, video stores, horror themes)

Prop designers

Color stylists and painters

Concept artists

Title card / logo designers

STORY TEAM

Storyboard artists

Storyboard revisionists

Animatic editors

Music composers (synthwave + eerie/ambient preferred)

COMPENSATION STRUCTURE

We are listing this project as Paid If Funded with the intention of securing Kickstarter funding specifically to pay every member of the team fairly.

All applicants must provide:

Portfolio link or demo reel

Your standard rates (hourly, per-frame, per-shot, or per-deliverable)

Preferred software

Your availability

Once funding is secured, we will negotiate final payments based on your rates and workload.

We are also offering revenue share if the pilot is picked up or monetized.
