ARTIFACT - A Fantasy Rock Opera
Project Overview
In the dawn of eons, the ancient architects of Time and Memory had forged relics, embedding their very essences within them. Shrouded in secrecy, these Artifacts lay dormant until destiny beckoned the bold to unearth them. Crafted by the Ancients to echo their essence throughout the ages, each harbored the power to reshape the cosmos — a power not bestowed without its perilous toll for the wielders of these... Artifacts.
Hello! I'm excited to announce that I am currently adapting an album of music into a full-scale rock opera, titled "Artifact." The lyrics and storyline are in the final stages of development, with completion expected within the week.
Current Progress: As of now, 5 out of 10 tracks featuring lyrics and narration have been completed. I will continue to update this page with new material, so be sure to bookmark this page if you're interested in participating.
Audition Details: We are seeking talented singers to bring the characters of this epic narrative to life. If you find the provided backing tracks are out of your vocal range, do not hesitate to reach out. I can export the tracks in your preferred key to accommodate your vocal range.

This project is an adaptation of original songs from "Artifact: A Modern Fantasy Soundtrack," available here: Original Soundtrack
The final production will be released under the Azakaela label across all major streaming platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Bandcamp, and more.
Significant roles will involve royalty sharing, and all major characters' singers will be credited on the album.

Long ago, the ancient engineers of Time and Memory constructed relics imbued with their very souls. These relics were hidden for a time, and uncovered by those who sought to change the world -- All according to the plan of the Ancients who's goal was to influence the world long after their deaths; for each Relic could reshape the universe according to their wielder, a price was inevitably paid by those who claimed these... Artifacts.
Queen Ara had begun down the path. Realizing that in order to unlock her true potential, she must recover the Relics of the Ancients and collect them all in order to fully manifest her dream into fruition, she sent a knight by the name of Yorich to recover the Pendant of the Ark from high atop a forgotten mountain sanctuary...
After having retrieved the pendant from an innocous chest left atop the mountain, Yorich donned the Pendant around his neck and began his descent. Meanwhile, Ara was in the catacombs beneath her palace -- Searching for the Emerald Chalice, that which when drank from, granted eternal youth...
Queen Ara wasn't always a queen. After discovering Luna's Scepter, she sets the plot into motion and becomes a sort of antagonist, who is aware that her personality is becoming corrupted through wielding the Scepter.

On the horizon... atop the mountain...

Dorne leads a band of rogues that ambush Yorich on his way back to Ara -- He possesses the Obsidian Lenses which allow him to see how things will unfold and parts a warning to Yorich during their duel.
Dorne's voice will require a bit of an accent that can be done during swift- talk singing.

Track 4 - Obsidian Lens

Dorne: Well such is my luck, to run into in the esteemed Knight of her Lady's court -- To what do I owe the honor?
Yorich: You fiend! You block my path -- Trespass or nay, I have a duty to obey! You will not stand in my way. Now Tell me what is your name? You know... before you are slain.
Dorne: You may call me Dorne, and know this -You are surrounded, this is a test you see -- you pass or you die- The metric, your loyalty ; for your Lady or for your Life? what do you choose? tell What's the verdict? Yorich -- yeah I Know your name.
Yorich: I will never yield, if that's what you ask -- I have the pendant of the arc and I can never be stopped ; and I am at her Lady's Service, for better or worse, yes.
Dorne: Surely there's someone you forgot about, tell me who is your master truly? Are you not free to make your own choice, to follow your own destiny?
Yorich: It's not choice I'm at liberty to make, there are lives at stake, I fight for the innocent not the brave after all.
Dorne: Then it is truly a fool you save, for you know not who you forsake by delivering that relic straight to the one who would see us all destroyed -- haven't you heard about the ancient prophect, gather them all, the ending will be free?

Yorich: Enough of your lies, I've had enough of your lies! End this now Let me PAss
Dorne: I speak only the truth for I have seen with the Obsidian Eyes. I have seen my own demise, I was just wondering if we could but compromise, leave me alive, and I'll give you the Eyes -- To see you're more than you realize!
Yorich: Nay!

Dorne: Aghhh... It's exactly as I've seen... Luckily, I know my part -- and now I shall depart, but remember this -- The end has not yet begun! Forsake her Yorich, it must be done.
