Dear Casting Call Club,
It is my absolute honor to invite you to audition for my new audio drama, Arkham Asylum. My story will delve you into Batman's infamous asylum for the criminally insane. This is purely a non profit project and all rights to the characters are reserved to DC Comics. This story will be unlike many of the Arkham games and is going to take place strictly inside the asylum with only few actual appearances from Batman. The story takes place among the villains. The story will be told through the perspective of the lead, which is not gender/race/accent specific. Which means everyone has the opportunity to audition for it. Upon choosing the lead you will have your own character and super villain identity written. Please take note that there will be violence, crude humor, swearing, and sexual connotations. If you aren’t prepared for something like a sex scene or discussion of dark topics this project isn’t for you.
On another note, you MUST MUST MUST have a decent mic!
Auditions with high static and racketing will be ignored. While I know there’s some REALLY great voice actors out there that don’t have the money to purchase the better quality microphones, for the sake of the project I’ll be looking for good mics.
I can enhance most standard USB microphones through EQing and noise reduction so I won’t have high standards!
Lastly, please audition for as MANY roles as you’d like! If you’re good I’ll cast you for multiple characters.

But all interpretations are welcome! Should be charming, comical, dark, and capable of aggression.

His name says all. Many of the things he says are said in a condescending tone.
“This is childs play, so I SUPPOSE your… exceptionally ordinary little brain may be able to find the answer.”
“What tastes better than it smells?”
“A tongue.” *syllables annunciated and spoken with a hint of seduction*

This is a character that has the ability to control the minds of anyone with their eyes, so for safety reasons is blindfolded through most scenes.
Everything else including traits, attitude, and gender, will be decided upon choosing the voice actor.
"I can’t see your face. I’ll never know if you’re telling the truth."
"Don’t patronize me.. I know more than you might think."
"What is that noise? It’s like someone is scratching the walls. *Said inside their head*"

Talks professional, look to cilian murphy for a good example. Many of the things he says are said in a condescending tone.
“So glad you could join me today, If it’s alright with you I’d like to take notes. Feel free to continue your questions…”Doctor", I understand you are exhibiting symptoms of dissociative identity disorder. “
“Let your body unwind. Allow my toxins to bleed into your mind.” *Spoken into someone’s ear*
“This is trivial. I see right through you. Did you really think you could hide?"

Seductive and feminine, a questionable ulterior motive should be present.
“If you truly loved me… You would do what I asked of you.”
“*Gasp* These pretty flowers just for me? How can I repay you? How about a kiss?”
“Don’t you want to hear what I have to say? Lean in a little closer handsome.”
ITS BATMAN, NEED I SAY MORE? But please no christain bale impersonations, his batman voice sucks
"It's over Joker. And the next time you try, I'll be there to stop you. Always."
"Do yourself a favor and stay put the next time your "friends" decide to wreak havok."
"I've been to too many funerals. The choice you decide to make, you make it alone."
"You and I... are NOT the same. You're scum. And the first chance I have, I'll kill you."
"Ha. You'll have to find another cell. We've already got a pair of jackasses."
"I really don't give a shit. You're a fucking lunatic, and it won't be long till we've parted ways."
"You could always have more, couldn't you alice?"
"No time so sit, not time to chat, I'm searching for Alice and I've lost my hat!"
"I'm late, I'm late! Why, you must open the gate! Alice awaits!"

An english accent is necessary, preferably something like magneto from the X-men movies!

Can range from either rude and vulgar, to painfully calm and nice. Really gruff deep voice, similar to his Arkham City voice.
“Listen asshole, the next time I see you lurking around my turf, you may not be so lucky.”
“Heads or tails bitch?”
“If you asked nicely the first time, I would have helped you out."

Should be soft spoken, but every word delivered with an extra dose of creep.
“See this patch of skin miss? just behind my ear? I’m reserving it for something special. Do you want to know what?”
“Would you care to hear a story about a young girl and an electric carving knife?
“I’ve been thinking about you. I do hope you’ve been thinking about me too..”
She hasn't met Joker yet. Should hold youth and curiosity.
"You can't deny there's an element of glamour to these super-criminals."
"I know what I'm doing! Just wait. I'll go where no doctor has ever gone before."
"You poor thing... tell me all about it. I'm here now!"
*RECASTING*
Deep strong voice, should have a latin accent , peña dura should be said "PENYA THURA" ROLL THE R. Look to the Arkham Games for reference
"I channel strength through meditation, I am he who broke the bat. I am also the only person here who knows his true identity."
"I am the king of Peña dura! And I will be the king of Arkham!"
"Your first mistake was underrestimating my intelligence."
Strong voice, military background, upper class. You have full freedom to come up with your own take on Sharp.
"Arkham Asylum? *Scoff* You mean Batman's personal garbage disposal?"
"Need I remind you, these are sick people. The goal is to cure them, not reprimand them."
"I will not tolerate such incompetence. The next time one of these inmates gets loose, you can all consider yourself jobless!"
“Master Bruce...forgive me if I’m wrong, but are you sure you have the right person?
“For me. Look into her Grandfather. You heard what she said. What are the odds something like that is genetic?”
Should be very serious and angry, loud and reckless. Should have a deep voice
“You have the right to remain silent when questioned. Anything you say or do may be used against you in a court of law." (should be spoken very angry and gruff)
“Shut the hell up!”
(screamed) She killed 8 of my friends!”

“I’ve got your scent, it won’t be long before your bones are cracking between my teeth and your blood dripping down my chin.” *Low laugh*
