ARCHIVE 1965 (Podcast)

ARCHIVE 1965 (Podcast)

Project Overview

CONCEPT: When a low-income government worker is archiving old audio files he stumbles across a box of tapes labeled ARCHIVE 1965. He soon discovers that, at best, the tapes reveal a history of child abuse, at worst, a government conspiracy.

TONE/DIRECTION: The tone of this series is dark and heavy, similar to audiotape collectibles that you often find in video games. Whilst heavy, the atmosphere isn’t suffocating and there will be a hint of bittersweetness underlying the whole series as we follow the lives of 5 children.

There will be nothing graphic but a lot implied. The series will be centered on the themes of memory, war, and the cost of one’s own humanity.

SERIES OVERVIEW: This is a podcast series estimated to be 10 episodes between 10-12minutes in length with a possibility of another season.

16+ Only please due to the subject matters included.

Don’t worry about availability at this stage as we are just in the very beginning stages of pre-production and won’t be advertising for voice actors until late July leaving lots of time for re-writes and script development.

This is a great opportunity for you to build a portfolio either as a writer or producer due to the small length of the series. Previous experience in audio projects is preferred, however this is a great chance for newbies so don't be put off!

IN YOUR SUBMISSION PLEASE INCLUDE: Your Discord (we will be using this to communicate), Your Timezone, and Your Age (Please don't lie).
