Project Overview
Welcome to Sonic Comic Central! Your one-stop-shop for all dubs of Sonic Comics! We're a group of passionate VAs and Sonic fans with the noble goal of dubbing every single Ian Flynn Pre-boot Archie Sonic Comic. We also plan on branching out to other Sonic comics, such as other Archie Eras, IDW, Sonic the Comic and even Fan-comics!
This Casting Call covers Batch 2 of the comics we'll be dubbing. As more dubs are produced, more batches will need casting and more CCs will go up.
Batch 2 will cover:
Sonic the Hedgehog Issues 160-165
REQUIREMENTS:
-Must have Discord
-Must have an External Microphone (or an iPhone 11 or newer)
-Must be comfortable yelling and crying for certain scenes.
OTHER:
-Audition for as many characters as you want
-Include your Discord username in your audition or on your profile
EXTRA INFORMATION:
The "Deferred Amount" on each role isn't exactly a deferred amount per say. When the channel becomes monetized, a fair pay for the VAs will be decided upon.

Croctobot was a fusion of Badnik Sub-Bosses Crocbot and Octobot created by Dr. Eggman.

Dr. Finitevus is a villainous and insane albino mobian echidna known for his creation and usage of Warp Ring technology. Originally an aspiring scientist from Albion, Finitevus was physically and mentally changed forever as a side-effect of the powers of Chaos Knuckles, becoming a "photonegative" of the guardian and gaining many of his abilities as a result.
Will appear semi-frequently.

A.D.A.M (Autonomous Digital Assault Microbe) or (A.D.A.M. determines Anonymous' Movements) was an artificial intelligence and sentient computer virus created through an accident by Dr. Eggman.

Merlin Prower is the wizard of the Kingdom of Acorn, Miles "Tails" Prower' paternal uncle, Amadeus Prower's brother, and the brother-in-law of Rosemary Prower. An old friend of Maximillian Acorn's, he went into hiding prior to Dr. Ivo Robotnik's military coup, becoming a charlatan. He would encounter Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails once each before finally revealing himself to them, at which point he temporarily resided in Knothole and then in New Mobotropolis. Having been named one of the Neo Walkers by the Ancient Walkers, he left soon afterwards to explore his connection to the Chaos Force.

Sir Connery was a mobian horse and Knight in the service of the Kingdom of Acorn. During the time of Maximillian Acorn, he was called away by the Ancient Walkers to become their Paladin, and charged with tracking down and destroying dark magical forces on Mobius. A deep believer in the Ancient Walkers and valiant warrior, Connery performed his duties with grace and excellence, becoming affiliated with the Knothole Freedom Fighters as time went on.
Would prefer a sort of posh voice for the horse. Just a preference though.

Mecha (M) Robotnik was the robotic "daughter" of Dr. Eggman and "sister" of A.D.A.M.. Loyal only to Eggman, Mecha was as cold and emotionless as most of his creations—most of the time. She only showed emotion on a handful of occasions, usually when Eggman was threatened. At these times, she became extremely angry and volatile.

The Ancient Walkers were three powerful entities that hail from ancient times, often appearing at important crisis times on Mobius. The Brotherhood of Guardians regard them as the only beings in history to attain absolute mastery of Chaos energy. Appearing in multiple forms, most often as a trio of tiki masks, the three appeared to offer advice and task their successors with the defense of Mobius.

Lightning Lynx is a mobian lynx who was originally a member of the Fearsome Foursome under Mammoth Mogul, and has since become a member of the Destructix. A criminal who with his cohorts has fought with the Knothole Freedom Fighters and Chaotix several times, he has also worked under command of Sleuth Dawg and Dr. Finitevus.
I view Lightning Lynx as having a light Japanese accent to lean into the inspiration of the Raiju clan.

Flying Frog is a mobian frog who was originally a member of the Fearsome Foursome under Mammoth Mogul, and has since become a member of the Destructix. A criminal who with his cohorts has clashed several times with the Knothole Freedom Fighters and Chaotix, he has also worked under Sleuth "Doggy" Dawg and Dr. Finitevus.

Predator Hawk was a former member of the Battle Bird Armada and Babylon Rogues, until he left those groups to join the Fearsome Foursome under Mammoth Mogul, and has since been a member of the Destructix. A criminal who-with his cohorts-has battled the Knothole Freedom Fighters and Chaotix several times.
Pred should sound like the current Jet the Hawk VA (Refer to Sonic Crossworlds), but less cocky and more serious.

Nack is a mobian wolf/weasel hybrid, and is both a dangerous and clumsy bounty hunter. Though willing to do whatever it takes to get a job done, he often messes up. He has come across Sonic the Hedgehog and the other Freedom Fighters many times, and even has a grudge against Princess Sally Acorn after a failed attempt to keep her hostage. He also has a sister named Nic, and although they do not exactly get along, they have worked with each other in the past. Recently, he has teamed up with Bean the Dynamite and Bark the Polar Bear to form Team Hooligan.
I have a very distinct voice in mind for Nack. That being a voice similar to that of Jason Statham.

Ixis Naugus is one of the last surviving members of the Order of Ixis. During his time as the Kingdom of Acorn's Royal Wizard, he helped instigate events that led to the Great War, and then fled to the Zone of Silence as a safe haven where he was trapped for many years until he managed to escape after the First Robotnik War. Naugus became an immediate enemy of Sonic the Hedgehog, who eventually trapped him inside the Zone again until the Arachne Clan released him once more.
Naugus should have a raspy and scratchy voice.

Jet is a mobian hawk and expert Extreme Gear rider who deserted from the Battle Bird Armada and became the leader of the Babylon Rogues. Jet believed it was his destiny to find Babylon Garden and take the glory that would come with it, and seeks to do this in order to get back at the Armada as well.
A voice similar to Jason Griffith’s take would be preferred, but feel free to do your own take should you please.

Wave is a mobian swallow, and the resident technical genius for the Babylon Rogues. As a former member of the Battle Bird Armada, Wave worked with Dr. Fukurokov until she double-crossed him and went rogue after escaping jail. She was quite knowledgeable in mechanics and technological expertise, and was responsible for maintaining the Rogues' zeppelin and its supplies.
I request that she sound like the original Riders and Riders: Zero Gravity take on the character, but feel free to do your own!

Storm is a hulking, mobian albatross and the enforcer of the Babylon Rogues. Strong-armed and simple-minded, he serves as Jet the Hawk's right hand man and is usually at odds with his intellectually superior teammate, Wave the Swallow. Relying more on his brute strength, Storm is not the most skilled at riding Extreme Gear, but is still an adequate flyer while being able to match other physically fit opponents like Knuckles the Echidna.
Like Wave, I would prefer a take akin to his original voice from Riders and ZG. But original and newer takes are welcome as well

Sleuth Dawg is a mobian dog who was originally a member of the Robotropolis Spy Network, providing information to the various Freedom Fighter Groups from inside Robotropolis. However, Sleuth was swayed to Dr. Ivo Robotnik's side by promises of wealth and personal power. His attempted coup against Princess Sally Acorn was unsuccessful, and he was incarcerated at the Devil's Island Gulag prison. Upon his escape, he teamed up with several other prisoners to take his revenge.
