Project Overview
Evelyn, a 17 year old girl with a seemingly normal life finds herself gifted with abilities that others would struggle to understand. During a party, Evelyn finds herself unable to control her abilities and is taken to an Institution where she's told she will learn to control her abilities. However, as truths come out about her past, the institution becomes a place that maybe can't help her in the same way as she once thought.

Dylan is only in this series for the first episode. Dylan is a sly character and whilst he may appear to be friendly he has a dark side.

Jacob is only in this series for the first episode. He’s a flirtatious character and enjoys breaking the rules.
(Calling Over) Yo Rayne, you still coming tonight?
I think you've already done a pretty good job of that yourself.
Come on, live a little. One drink isn't going to hurt you.
Sara is Evelyn's mother. She cares for her deeply and would do anything to protect her, even if it doesn't always turn out to be the best way. Sara keeps part of Evelyn's past a secret to her daughter and finds it difficult to talk about.
Awe, Evvy baby you look stunning.
I just wanted to see how you two were getting along. Do you girls need a ride?
Are you sure? I'm more than happy to drive you both.
Evelyn is a somewhat socially awkward teenager. She doesn't enjoy parties or large groups of people. She prefers to stay with the people she trusts and is uncomfortable when meeting new people, especially if these people don't seem like the nicest.
The only reason we've been invited is because Jacob has a crush on you and thinks you'll be easy.
People need to stop asking me that. I'm fine. Really.
I really don't mind, really. How long have you been playing?
Amy is a very lively character and can come across as childlike at times. She's extremely excitable and loves being around her friends. Even though she can come across as irresponsible and immature, she is still able to defend herself.
(Excited) Hello! I'm Amy and this is Alec. Lena told us to keep watch to see if you woke up. We're in the same classes!
(Pleading, Whining) Do I have to? I've been waiting all week for her to wake up!
(Annoyed, Sullen) We all originally came from Mundanes, Victor. Undulates were mutations... And so were the other Arcane that derived from them.
Lena is the Governor of the Institution. She in charge of making sure that students and teachers stick to the rules. Although she is still quite young she is very strict and sticks to protocol. She finds it difficult to have empathy for others and usually thinks people have an ulterior motive.
(Bitter, Snapping) Incadescents no longer exist.
(Slow) Mundanes are not allowed to know of our world, Evelyn. They believe you died in the fire.
Of course not, but there are other of our kind out there that could pose a threat to them if they knew of us.
Victor is a very sly character. He will manipulate people to get what he wants and is very good at it. He is a well-spoken and articulate. He isn't so friendly and enjoys causing trouble.
I haven't seen you around before. You must be Evelyn, yes?
Oh, you know... Their odd traditions and mediocre lifestyles confuse me.
(Slight laugh) As much as I'd love to stay and chat, I really should be going. I'll see you around Evelyn.
Nate seems to be a very closed-off and bitter character. He finds it difficult to open up to people and doesn't make friends easily. He tries to do what he thinks is best, but sometimes what he thinks is best isn't. He is caring and dependable to his friends and would do anything to protect them. Lex and Nate have been best friends ever since they were little and they're always together.
(Annoyed) She looks like any other spoilt, mundane girl to me.
(Awkward) I think she fainted.
(Amused, Provoking) How can you be so sure?
Rayne is a lively character, but at the same time she is very down to earth. She enjoys parties and having fun, and doesn't really have the best judgement. She's Evelyn's best friend and would do anything to protect her.
(Drunk, Mocking) You're not trying to get me drunk are you Jacob?
(Clarifying) Dylan. You know, that guy that's had a huge crush on you for like ever... Wow, you're dense.
You bet your ass I am!
Lex is a gentleman and very well-spoken. He cares deeply for his friends and would do anything to protect them, he is extremely trustworthy and sees the best in anyone. He is dependable and someone people can rely on. Lex and Nate have been best friends ever since they were little and they're always together.
Evelyn we need to go now. You need to follow us, okay?
(Annoyed) You can't just leave her, Lena.
Don't be. I should be apologizing. Did I wake you?
Alec is quite a quiet character. He is friendly and very trustworthy. He tends to spend his time looking after Amy and making sure she doesn't get herself into any trouble. He is immensely dependable, but he enjoys sticking to the rules. He's quite and authoritative character.
(Instructing) Amelia, leave her be.
(Friendly) This is your room. Remember I'm just across the hall to the right if you need me.
(Low) That's enough Victor.
Cullen is an extremely dark person and perhaps borderline psychopathic. He is extremely well-spoken and puts on the façade of being a gentleman however, every now and then his façade breaks and he can become very angry. He doesn't care who he hurts to get what he wants.
My, my, my... What have you gotten yourself into?
(Angry, shouting) Why can't you just do as I ask?!
