Introduction
Hello Everyone! I am Houkago Dub Time and I am currently looking for
voice actors and actresses to portray various parts in the fandub of “Anohana: A Letter to Menma". This past year, I have been trying my best to fandub the entire series of “Anohana” (If you haven’t seen the series yet DO IT It’s amazing!) and have had a lot of success in doing so! We’ve completed three episodes and I am almost done with Episode 4. Now this project started about one year ago, way before the announcement of the official dub of Anohana. Once the official dub was announced, I decided to step down from continuing to fandub the series to respect the official release (Except Episode 4). However, there has yet to be any mention of an official dubbing of the movie and Anohana deserves everything to be dubbed (Including the movie!) That is why I and Kerubin Pictures came to the conclusion to dub “Anohana: A Letter to Menma".
Deadline
The deadline for this project will be on October 1st, 2017. I am not planning on extending the deadline nor casting before the deadline has arrived. However, things change and if anything happens, this page will be updated!
Auditions and What I'm looking for!
For each role available, I have prepared a "Reference video" of the exact moments in the film that the character is saying the audition lines! Each video also comes with subtitles coming from the script to notify the viewer which line it is! It's also in numerical order (So Clip 1 is Audition Line 1) I am looking for voice actors and actresses that have acting ability with clear mics that have little to no background noise. Also looking for versatility for anyone who is going to audition for any of the extras. (Note: Please keep a positive attitude throughout production! Would rather the negativity stay out of this production!)
What to expect and When to expect it!
If casted, you can expect a friendly and warm environment to showcase your voice acting ability! As well as receiving a final product of this production. Production should be somewhere between early October to early November (Subject to change) I expect all lines to be turned in before the deadline and whoever casted to be committed! I do not want to give an expected date on when the fandub will be released as editing a movie will take a lot longer than editing a 24 minute episode. The cast will receive updates as I go on!
