Project Overview

Joybuzzahz here, I'm an anime parody abridger. I take various different Japanese cartoons, rewrite the dialog, shorter or remove scenes to play out a completely new narrative and we dub over the transformed video.

I finish my videos, they make it onto YouTube without issue. On my channel "Joybuzzahz" I get a handsome amount of views on my videos. My channel has a quarter million (250,000) views, and almost a thousand subscribers. Bigger abridgers who have mentored me have told me my channel is bullish and currently underrated so a rise in popularity is on the horizon.

Casting for a parody of "Classroom of the Elite" and "Why Does Nobody Remember Me in This World?"

Just as a heads up, here are a few things you might want to know before you audition.

1 - Act! When the line direction says shout or yell, you shout or yell. If it says to sound hurt, sound like it. All of the lines require you to raise your voice to some degree. So make sure to project your voice.
2 - I care about audio quality, I expect talent to audition at minimum with a budget XLR set up. No peaks, static, or plosives.
2 - I communicate on Discord, you can share that with me privately after being cast.
3 - You need to be okay with doing live direction, I don't always require it, but its necessary with some lines.
5 - Have fun! Don't take the lines too seriously. If there is a spelling mistake somewhere, read the line where you're comfortable to deliver it. I encourage improv lines.

    As for the other two roles. To emphasis. I'm looking for high energy reads. Exclamation marks indicate you shout! I need actors with clean audio, no peaking, static, or any other distortion. And again, acting in a parody is the same as acting. These aren't narration roles, these are character roles, show character! You can do it! I believe you!

In this parody she's... well she Basically she thinks she's a cop.
She should have medium ranged voice.
I'm open to personal touches on the character this isn't a fandub, accurately matching the English dub isn't a priority. Matching the character's look with a voice that's fitting is.

She's from a currently airing anime called "Why Does Nobody Remember Me in This World?".
I like improv, anime abridges are parody work. If you can make the lines sound better, even if they're completely different from the audition notes that's an A+
I'm open to interpretation. She should have a medium to high ranged voice. Open to different accents, as long they are from English speaking countries.
I'm not entirely sure where we're going to take her in character direction. But I think SAO abridged Asuna might be a start for what kind of vibe I want. Again, open to interpretation.

Medium-low pitched.
Voice, thinking Klein from SAO or abridged SAO. The only scene we have written so far he just kind of acts like a dad.
